Great, subtle pumpkin flavor. Extremely smooth. Not as strong of a taste as Weyerbacher - more understated. sirpsycho (343), Murrysville, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 17, 2007 22 oz. bottle. Pours a medium amber. Aroma is cinnamon, slight pumpkin and other spices. Taste was a very subdued pumpkin, cinnamon and spices. They tasted a little too unnatural, manufactured. Eh...I can knock this one off the list now. GeneralGao (3051), Iowa City, Iowa, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 16, 2007 22 oz bottle. Poured a clear medium orange color. Head was three fingers high and off white with good retention. There was only a bit of lace on the glass at the end. Aroma was of assorted spices and biscuity malt. Slightly sweet on the tongue with a nice mixture of cinnamon, nutmeg, bready malt, and pumpkin flavors all in roughly equal proportions. Not a bad beer. jcwattsrugger (5242), Florida and, New Jersey, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 13, 2007 22 oz bottle-pours a big foamy off white head and orange/copper color. Aroma is lots of clove, pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon. Taste is clove, pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, mediu malt-caramel, secondary hops bite. Nicely balanced. Medium body. OK carbonation. Pumpkin ales are a middle of the road style for me, this one was nicely done. Thanks jwc215 for sharing. JCB (1747), Durham, North Carolina, USA

The aroma isn’t as strong as I’d anticipated, but it’s a pleasant whiff of fresh pie. Fizzy, lively body with tons of nutmeg and a dash of cinnamon stick, but they seem imperfectly blended, even at times a bit bitter and ashy. Not the season’s best. emacgee (1864), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 5, 2007 Pours a hazy orange amber with a creamy light tan head. The aroma is sweet pumpkin meat, spices, nutmeg, cinnamon, and allspice. The flavor is similar, showing all of the sweet spices and a definite pumpkin backbone. Nice crisp carbonation. Very nice seasonal beer. aubreya (676), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 2, 2007 Pours a deep orange color with a medium foamy white head. Had a nice aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg, and pumpkin. It smells just like pumpkin pie. The taste is mainly of the pumkin spices at first and then more of the pumpkin flavors as it warms up. There is a nice sweet malt presence in the background as well that balances out everything. The only drawback was that a little over carbonated for my tastes. Overall this was just a really good pumpkin beer and another great one from these guys.
