The nose has a slight spicyness amid the slight malt aroma. The flavor had a noticeable pumpkin tinge, malts, a small amount of spice, not a lot in the way of hops. The mouthfeel is medium/thick. The finish is clean, a little malty sweetness on the palate. Not bad, definitely not the best pumpkin ale, but definitely worthwhile. mgumby10 (1850), Jupiter, Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 24, 2007 Pours a clear orange with a thick, foamy off white head. Really nice blend of cinnamon spice and pumpkin in the nose. Very creamy smelling. Pumpkin pie. The flavor is alot of pumpkin, with the cinnamon spice still there, but more in the background. Definitely some malts in there too to give it some substance and a little balance. Really nice pumpkin beer. Neither flavors dominated the other which is what I enjoy in pumpkins. This brewery almost never disappoints. FROTHINGSLOSH (1984), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 23, 2007 Sampled on draft at the Rivertowne Pub this beer poured a medium red-brown color with a small tan head. The aroma was lightly malty with strong notes of cinnamon and nutmeg. The flavor was lightly malty and a bit tangy with overwhelming notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and cardamom, Dryish overall. Too spicy for my taste. bonbright7 (173), Bellport, New York, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 21, 2007 Bottle. This poured well into a red/orange body with a decent head and a malty aroma sprang forward from it. It tasted lighter than I expected with elements of spice and pumpkin. To my surprise, my wife really liked it and she usually likes the darks beers better. This wasn’t great with Tilapia, but I will bet it is great with sandwiches and heros. hopdog (5550), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA

Aromas of spicy pumpkin pie. A little bit of pumpkin candle too. Tastes of spicy pumpkin pie. performula (147), Triangle Area, North Carolina, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 19, 2007 This is not a Pumpkin Pie, but the blend is very nice. The Nutmeg/spices aren’t over powering the pumpkin or vice versa. Nor does this have a thick aftertaste like other pumpkin ales. Sweet tasting finish. This is a close second to the Weyerbacher IPA - P = pumpkin. DrHomolka (728), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 11, 2007 Bomber. Pours dark bronze with a rocky white head that lasts a long time. Aroma is yeasty, zesty, a touch of ginger. Not all that pumpkin pie like, honestly, just subtly so. Taste is better. Definite pumpkin pie flavor. Ginger, cinnamon, other spices. Medium bodied. More flavorful than most pumpkin beers I’ve had. It doesn’t have anything on Southern Tier’s, but it’s definitely better than almost every other pumpkin beer I’ve tried. thenick (744), North Bellmore, New York, USA

Pours a beautiful deep orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is largely cinnamon and nutmeg with pumpkin at the end. Taste is spice up front, dissolving into a smooth finish with a pumpkin characteristic. Wonderful beer.
