Smells like pumpkin pie... crust and all. Perfectly-balanced; malty and sweet up front, but restrained by spice and good hopping on the backside. Medium-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Spicy, moderately sweet finish. Kudos to growler for sharing his bottle! joergen (8523), Frederiksberg, Denmark

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 29, 2006 Deep amber color out of the bomber bottle with a foamy off white head and active bubbles. Faint nose of soda pop and spice. Spice cake taste with nutmeg, cinnamon, and something sharp like ginger. Pretty subtle for a pumpkin beer. bigrond (1044), factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 7/20 | Nov 29, 2006 I can’t believed this scored so well. This beer was weak. No pumpkin flavor or aorma. It had a very bland - slightly spicing taste. Maybe I got a bad bottle. But others who had a sip - thought the same. kramer (2465), Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 29, 2006 22 oz bottle, enjoyed Thanksgiving Day 2006, via kmweaver. Pours a clear bright orangish copper colored body under a fizzy large bubbled off-white head. Light lazy visible carbonation. Aroma just screams pumpkin pie spices. Cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice, you know, the usual suspects. Some actual pumpkin below that too, but light. The flavor is not as overspiced as the aroma suggested. The nutmeg seems most prominant up front, slightly overtaken by the cinnamon on the finish. The pumpkin is more prevelant than in the aroma, yet still second fiddle. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with fizzy prickly carbonation. Nowhere near as sticky and sweet as most pumpkin beers, the texture is actually fairly watery. I liked this alot better than most of the pumpkin beers I’ve had because the really kept the sweetness in check. goldtwins (4079), Nesconset, New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 27, 2006 Poured a clear golden orange color with a small off-white head. The aroma really smells like pumpkin pie. There is a fair amount of sweet pumpkin flesh and cinnamon. Also notes of all-spice and ginger. The flavor is dryer than the aroma. Some malt, some pumpkin and a spicey (not heat spice) dry finish.
