| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 15, 2009 Copper pour with a big white head. Aroma is exactly like pumpkin pie. Flavor is surprisingly like the aroma, with a nice cinammon and nutmeg bite. Much better than many ’pumpkin’ type brews... doesn’t taste fake or metallic. Just a good beer that tastes as advertised. jstraw (758), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Oct 13, 2009 Clear orange amber with light, white head / Complex nose of pumpkin and spice / Light to medium body, somewhat sweet and fizzy, with low hopping and fair finish / Flavors of pumpkin, nutmeg and cinnamon / A fine, mainstream example of a pumpkin ale with no major flaws. nickd717 (1332), Palo Alto, California, USA

Nice clear golden-orange color with a medium-sized white head and some lacing. Aroma is sweet pumpkin and spices with some bready pie crust notes. Flavor is a lot like pumpkin pie, fairly sweet with good pumpkin flavor, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Body is medium-full and palate is fairly creamy. Solid pumpkin ale overall. tilldeath (76), Arvada, Colorado, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 11, 2009 smooth, sweet creamy pumpkin pie, just enough nutmeg spice bitterness in the end. Haven’t had a ton of pumpkin beers but this is my favorite for sure, wish I could get it bottled easier. watson1977 (265), , Pennsylvania, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 11, 2009 pours a very clear golden orange honey color with a medium white head. aroma is very doughy with mild spicy...cinnamon...pumpkin pie. flavor is spicy...nutmeg...and slightly reminiscent of pumpkin pie but also has some spicy hops. mouthfeel has lots of co2 action but finish is watery and abrupt with nutmeg and cinnamon. all in all, it has some pumpkin pie qualities but seems a bit muddled... xnoxhatex (1305), Grand Rapids/Chicago, Michigan, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 11, 2009 Bottle thanks to 17thfloor. Clear copper with fizzy beige head. Aroma is pumpkin spice, slightly sweet, nice amount of richness. Flavor is pumpkin, pumpkin spices, slight chalk or mettallicness, it’s a toss up, not bad, rich again. Creamy, medium to full body, active carbonation. Nice, one of the better pumpkin beers. MoDog (917), Griffith, Indiana, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Oct 11, 2009 12oz bottle served in a shaker. Clear amber/orange pour with a thin head of fizzy, lasting off-white foam. Spotty lace. The aroma had cinnamon, nutmeg, and a touch of vanilla. Also some toast and bready caramel malt. The flavor was pretty weak. Not over spiced, just thin and bland with a slight metallic finish. Light to medium-bodied and highly carbonated. The aroma was pretty nice, but it went downhill from there.
