3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle pours a dark amber color with a minimal tan hed that leaves razor thin lacing. Smells of pumpkin, cinnmon and nutmeg and vanilla. Tastes of all the same things in the smell. Mouthfeel is light and creamy with decent carbonation. Pretty Good for a pumpkin ale but just average overall. The vanilla flavor was hardly noticable in the finish but was there. I’ll get some next year.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Glass: Sam Adams Perfect Pint.
Appearance: The body is a hazy amber with copper edges. A short light tan head comes out from the body on the pour but quickly dissipates to a ring and a very sparse coating.
Aroma: Canned pumpkin comes to mind with nutmeg behind it then some cinnamon. Mildly sweet, though a bit weak.
Taste: A bit bland, slightly watery. Hints of pumpkin with nutmeg and allspice there, hints of cinnamon. Finish is a bit watery with some spices.
Palate: Lighter medium boded, moderately carbonated.
Overall: A shame since I know Southampton are good brewers. This is watery and bland. Wouldn’t buy again.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Solid beer a bit more pumpkin and cinn flavor than some others. Not too heavy with only 5%abv so you can drink a few and not feel incredibly full like others.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Its body is very hazy and dark amber in color with some tiny slow moving bubbles. This carbonation is only visible near the edges of the glass. The beer is capped by a one finger tall, egg shell colored foam head. This head quickly fades to a small ring of foam with a wispy thin island in the middle. This ring of foam makes some nice slick lacing on the glass. The aroma is has a classic blend of pumpkin pie spice (cinnamon, nutmeg and clove) over biscuity dry malt and some slight hints of leafy hop spice. There is a mellow blend of mildly sweet bready and biscuity malt with classic pie spice. It does have a light pumpkin flavor that blends nicely into the background. The spicy notes turn bone dry in the finish along with some mild hop bitterness and leafy/spicy flavor notes. The mouth feel has a medium to full, well carbonated feel. This makes for a slow sipper.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz bottle from Tipsy’s. Dark orange and clear appearance with a lacy beige head. Aroma of spices, pumpkin pie, light vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and light caramel/toffee maltiness. Similar flavor, heavily spiced, but not overdone, with a smooth, creamy feel and a medium body. Above average for a pumpkin beer.
