12oz bottle pours a dark amber color with a minimal tan hed that leaves razor thin lacing. Smells of pumpkin, cinnmon and nutmeg and vanilla. Tastes of all the same things in the smell. Mouthfeel is light and creamy with decent carbonation. Pretty Good for a pumpkin ale but just average overall. The vanilla flavor was hardly noticable in the finish but was there. I’ll get some next year.

Cloudy Crimson with a finger of off-white foam that dissipates quickly. Good fresh pumpkin and pie crust aroma, leaning more toward the gourd. Pumpkin again comes through in the flavor, but it’s subdued, and backed up by a bit of graininess and a subtle, cinnamon and clove spice. Just a hint of vanilla in the finish. Mouthfeel is very nice -- creamy like whipped topping. Improved markedly as it warms, when the vanilla note emerges to make the flavor similar to a chunk of pie with whipped cream.

Draft at Sugarmoms, Moriartys, and now Bierstube over many years. Pours a slightly hazy orange brown with a lasting foamy ring. Definitely Pumpkin Spice there but has the feel of real pumpkin in the background (read not squash) that has made this one stand out for me. Not overly strong. Nicely a wee bit sour. Works as a half with Guinness. Feels a bit less authentic in recent versions, so rating on its history.

12oz bottle - brought by friend. Poured a clear copper color with a small off-white head. Aroma was pumpkin pie notes, but a bit more heavy on the pumpkin side - which was nice. Cinnamon and some nutmeg in there. Flavor was about the same, like a sweet pumpkin pie. Decent.

Pours a coppery color with off-white head. Some pumpkin pie spice notes on the nose with a little actual pumpkin; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a malty note.

Bottle from Bo Brooks’ Lighthouse Liquors, Baltimore. Deep copper in colour, with an off-white head. Big cinnamon notes, toasted pumpkin and caramel, with a fairly gentle finish. Good.

Glass: Sam Adams Perfect Pint.
Appearance: The body is a hazy amber with copper edges. A short light tan head comes out from the body on the pour but quickly dissipates to a ring and a very sparse coating.
Aroma: Canned pumpkin comes to mind with nutmeg behind it then some cinnamon. Mildly sweet, though a bit weak.
Taste: A bit bland, slightly watery. Hints of pumpkin with nutmeg and allspice there, hints of cinnamon. Finish is a bit watery with some spices.
Palate: Lighter medium boded, moderately carbonated.
Overall: A shame since I know Southampton are good brewers. This is watery and bland. Wouldn’t buy again.

Solid beer a bit more pumpkin and cinn flavor than some others. Not too heavy with only 5%abv so you can drink a few and not feel incredibly full like others.

Bottle. Pours an amber color with white head. Pumpkin, veggie, malty aromas. Pumpkin, malty, bready flavors. A little less spice flavor than the other pumpkin beers I’ve been tasting tonight. Solid pumpkin beer.

Bottle. Pours an amber orange with an off white head and aroma of nutmeg, cinnamon, and malt. Taste is full of spices as well, with nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice, and pumpkin pie coming through with malty notes into the fall spiced finish. Drinkable pumpkin brew
