| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 31, 2009 12oz. Golden, slightly orange, crystal clear. Full on spicy aroma, vanilla especially. Hops come through in the aroma also. Rounded but ever so slightly more pointed then other pumpkin ales in flavor due to stronger hop presence. Pumpkin/spice/malt profile is what you would expect but the extra flavor hops are a nice addition. Yay beer! vyvvy (2069), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 2, 2007 Pours deep copper with a soapy tan head. The aroma has lots of rich toasted malt mixed with cinnamon and nutmeg. Medium body with quite a bit of sharp carbonation that doesn’t interfer with any of the flavors. The taste starts the flavors from the aroma, only slightly sharper. The finish has a spicy hop flavor and more cinnamon - quite crisp for the style. Well done pumpkin ale. Has a big cinnamon sugar and pumpkin aroma. Starts with a semi-sweet candy apple maltiness and pumpkin pie flavor drying some toward a toasty spiced finish. A nice pumpkin beer. Sparkling medium copper pour with fluffy, spritzy slightly off white head. Spicy aroma with hints of allspice and pumpkin pie spice. Spicy flavor as well, but not contrived and sweet. Hints of apple cider as well. Very warming. Thickish mouthfeel. One of the better pumpkin ales I have had to date. madsberg (5153), Søborg, Denmark

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 7, 2006 This finally came in at the local store - aroma of pumpkin pie mix, some earthy, vegetable qualities, and an almost off-putting smell that I can only describe as "scented candles" - quite light and refreshing for a pumpkin beer - slight sour/bitterness, followed by a mild cinnamon/sugar taste, then the expected spices: nutmeg, cardamon, etc. - a hint of ginger comes through in the end, mingling with a biscuity driness that creates a gingerbread-like finish, which is a nice touch - still fairly subtle, even with all of the apparent ingredients - nicely done, for the most part.
