smooth, sweet creamy pumpkin pie, just enough nutmeg spice bitterness in the end. Haven’t had a ton of pumpkin beers but this is my favorite for sure, wish I could get it bottled easier.

Bomber. Clear orange color with a large head. Spare lacing and fair retention. Aroma of pumpkin, pie spice and yeast. Nutmeg and cinnamon come out strong in the taste. No cardamom (which is good). A bit of a thin texture. Spicy finish. Pretty good.

The color was medium orange/brown. The head was creamy, fizzy, and off-white. The aroma was pumpkin, spice, nutmeg, and sweet caramel malt. The flavor was light pumpkin, spices, and sweet malt. The palate was very lively. The finish was clean.

Poured orange with white head. Aroma of spice and some cinnamon. Flavor was mostly of pumpkins with some cinnamon. Finished with some spice.

Bomber courtesy of goldtwins. Pours a clear reddish-copper with a lot of rising bubbles and a dense, frothy, off-white head. The aroma is reminiscent of pumpkin pie but with an emphasis on the spice versus the pumpkin itself: allspice up front, lesser independent notes of cinnamon and nutmeg with pumpkin taking up the rear. The mouthfeel is on the light side of medium bodied, the carbonation is fine and fairly soft with a crisper end that I’ve noticed in any other pumpkin beers that I’ve sampled. The hops are actually noticeable, in the finish, but only subtly, in the mouthfeel. They certainly don’t contribute to the overall flavor profile. The flavor follows the nose with the spice out front and the pumpkin taking back seat. This is definitely one of the better crafted pumpkins that I’ve ever tried. My only "complaint" would be that I’d like to see the pumpkin and malt profile kicked up just a notch to match the level of the spices. If that cranks up the ABV, so be it, but I think it would be even better than it already is now. Thanks Larry for sending this one my way!

Pours a cloudy dark copper color with some burnt orange hues and a two finger off-white head with decent retention, slowly fading into a lasting ring that leaves sporadic spots of lacing. Spicy pumpkin pie aroma with hints of cinnamon, brown sugar, pumpkin, clove and nutmeg. Soft carbonation up front with lots of sweet pumpkin pie flavor as well as hints of brown sugar, cinnamon, clove, ginger, nutmeg, vanilla ans some subtle apple cider notes. ABV very well masked. The mouthfeel is slightly watered down but otherwise this tastes like liquid pumpkin pie. One of the better examples of the style.

Pours an orange copper with a thin but foamy off-white head. Aroma is cleanly wheat and yeast but nothing special. Flavor, however, is wheat up front with a strong note of pumpkin pie spice right in the mid section. Finishes clean and the pumpkin flavor stays right in the middle of your tongue.

Bottle. Aroma very pumpkin pie, heavy on the spices, maybe some nutmeg, cinnamon, and allspice. Flavor gets kind of minty/wintergreeny, always spicy, a little less pumpkin from the pie. Did get a bit cloyingly sweet toward the end of my roughly 8 oz. portion, so wouldn’t want to drink more than that, but for at least awhile, very bold and luscious.
