3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hazy golden copper with bright sticky head & lacing. Moderate carbonation. The aroma is cheesy with funky hops and gorganzola. The flavor has some cider apples & sharp yeast notes. Lightly carbonated mouthfeel. Caramel & pilsner malts. Pretty Good! Thanks to <A HREF=http://www.ratebeer.com/ViewUser.asp?UserID=1 for the birthday beers!

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle @ Spiesy’s gaff. This was a gift from austinpowers, and is another American brewery I’ve been dying to try. This was certainly one of the better American brews we had, though it didn’t quite rock my beer world in the way I had hoped it would. It looks cool - wonderfully cool head. Creamy, slightly vanilla ice-cream Triple aroma. Smooth vanilla-some flavour. Subtle and gentle, yet flavoursome. Vanilla again. Finish is soft, quick and vanishing, though there is a Saaz type hop bitterness. Alcohol makes itself known. Very decent.

Green apple jolly rancher dipped in cotton candy nose. Nice tartness balanced with some white pepper spices and a hint o’bitterness. Nice lighterside triple. At the dry end in the finish. Good mouthfeel. Alcohol not detectable. Well crafted. Thanks to M500!!

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Shared a bottle with jaymobrown. Bright golden/orange with lively lasting and lacing head. Fresh and sweet floral nose with biscuit and spice hints. Sweet and light on the tongue, masterfully masked alcohol content. Sweetness is balanced with some sour fruitiness. Dry at the finish, leaving a florally sweet aftertaste. Superb!

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hazy and golden, frothy white head. Aroma is sour much like sour dough bread. It is also somewhat floral, with a mild mum type aroma. Flavor is pleasantly sour. Sweat and sour works well with this brew. I really enjoyed it.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy golden body with a slightly thin, but persistent, white head. Very cool aroma that is both slightly sweet and slightly sour. Light clove, oranges, apples, sourdough bread, a touch of alcohol, light, subtle hops, candi sugar and light malts. Great, creamy mouthfeel with lively, but not too strong, carbonation. The interplay of sweet malt and fruit, spice and strong yeast is a lot of fun. The flavors are great and stonger (better) than the nose. Not the best SPH beer, but another solid offering. Still not quite my prefered style.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Light caramel and grain aroma. Soft suede mouthfeel. Tangy citric acid flavor mingled with farmhouse character and yeast. Tart, not a lot of sweetness.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: JAN 25, 2007 corked and caged 750ml: Foggy banana cast. Gleaming white, sticky, pillowy head of meringue. Soft yet perfumey hop aromas fill the room along with notes plaster, white grape, heavy cream, and flowery hops bathing in dough. Mild wax, candy sugar, pound cake, woody yeast, and vine notes soften the esters. Initial burst of tight carbonation immediately turns fluffy and creamy which livens the delicate mineral and pale malt flavors. Wax tones quietly accompany this beauty as the juicy apple skin acidity thwarts the doughy, buttery flower notes. Mild perfume qualities build toward the finish and brighten the doughy yeast characteristics. Finishes crisp, yet soft and rather wet with more acidic twang than snappy hops, along with a lively mixture of apple flesh, fennel, chamomile and a doughy, waxy yeast trailing. I was hoping for a zestier hop aroma and more dryness to better manage the bright acidity. But throwing this in the cellar for a few years should give it the dryness it needs.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear golden color with a large white head. An unusual aroma, an almost lager like bread smell. A slightly spicy taste, small alcohol. Decent carbonation. The light flavor dies off toward the end.
