COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This smooth, medium bodied American IPA will hit the spot. The intense citrus/pine aroma and taste is accompanied with a slight hint of caramel. After a huge dry hopping, one whiff of this guy will have you breaking out that old tie-dye and throwing on a best of album. Relive, enjoy.

Looks like Iím the first one to review this one. Had it on tap at Sticky Fingers. I was a fan of this one. Itís got the Amarillo hops which Iíve really been enjoying lately. It pours cloudy dark amber with a white head that leaves lots of lacing. Great aroma - floral and fruity. Taste is bitter citrus with a bit of caramel malt. Medium body and smooth drinking. Overall, an enjoyable IPA.

Serious potential with these guys from Savannah. Not there yet but I will continue to experience their growth. Good balanced ipa. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Darkish coppery orange, with a thin ring of foam. Bready, toasty aroma, with a note of pine. Nicely quaffable, with a some toasty, biscuit flavors, then some woody, piney notes in the finish. Tasty...

Better than expected. Thereís some nice bitter in there, and decent feel too. Buddy from GA brought some down to music festival. Some caramel in there as well as heavy citrus/pine. Wouldnít go out of my way, but something I would drink again.

12oz can, purchased on 2/23/15 from Habersham in Savannah. "Take A Trip Southbound" is barely printed on the bottom of the can, but no date that I can see. Totally hazy orange amber color. An aggressive pour gives a finger of off-white head, that retains well. Good ridges of lace. Pretty nice piney kind of mildly grassy hop. Very big resiny kind of dank hop, and a decent amount of caramel malt too. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Light slick. Nice moderate to bigger bitter taste, lighter to moderate sweet. Awesome balanced IPA. My favorite from the 20 or so IPAs I picked up at Habersham, I think, so far. Good malt balance. Great to enjoy with my Subway.

Amber with a decent white head. Aroma is light pine hops. Flavor is pine hops with a sharp finish. Slightly nutty malt with a resinous aftertaste. Wife: 3.6

12oz can in a tulip. Pours amber with an off-white head. Aroma of lightly citrusy and piney and floral hops, some pale and amber malts, and some dough. Flavor the same. Average texture. I feel like the hops in this beer need to be added later, increased, and the malt profile could be lighter.

Aroma is a little katty. Bad can. Slightly bronzed blonde beer, webby white head, slightly misty. Fruity and mineral notes - passionfruit, some florality, slightly aggressive hopping. Citrus pith, juniper-like notes. Not bad, not stellar. Habersham Beverage Warehouse, Abercorn, Savannah.
