3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Looks like Iím the first one to review this one. Had it on tap at Sticky Fingers. I was a fan of this one. Itís got the Amarillo hops which Iíve really been enjoying lately. It pours cloudy dark amber with a white head that leaves lots of lacing. Great aroma - floral and fruity. Taste is bitter citrus with a bit of caramel malt. Medium body and smooth drinking. Overall, an enjoyable IPA.

Six pack at the beach. Lots of pine and resin especially on the finish. Grapefruit and citrus aromas. Big malt body. Caramel. Bigger flavor than a straight apa but good.

Amber colored. Super dank and piney not much brightness or sweetness to balance it out. Pass.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can to half-pint glass (shared with the Mrs.). Looks solid; on the malty side though. A hazy caramelish orange with off-white head that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells like a bittersweet malt bomb with notes of pine and citrus zest. Tastes like it smells with a semi-bitter medium-bodied mouthfeel. Some caramel too. A little hot, especially for only being 6.5%. An underwhelming example of the style.

Draft at Plum"s in Beaufort SC. Pours clear dark gold with no head. Aroma is faint, lemon and maybe apple. Taste is bitter hops, not much malt to balance it. Not bad but not the best the area has to offer.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a hazy copper color a finger of off-white head. Has a very nice fruity bouquet with notes of strawberry and raspberry. Flavor is of bitter berries. The dry-hopped character shines through as the sweet malt fruits wane. very refreshing brew.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours clear amber with a frothy eggshell head. Aroma is not strong, but promises woody hops with a hint of yeast. Flavor is hoppy and a little bitter, not much else. Maybe this is better from a bottle - or on tap. Gotta get to Savannah! Mouthfeel has average body and not much fizz. Iíll give this another chance, though, if I can find it on-tap.
