COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An inspiration from the beer country, our Belgian Witbier is a good representation of this classic style. A combination of coriander and citrus peel provides a pleasant tart-lemon aroma and orange-citrus flavor. This beer is refreshingly crisp and perfect for those hot summer festivals.

Hazy gold pour from a can. Banana, bubblegum, clove aroma. Appropriately clean wheat taste...slightly thin body. Not much spice. Decent.

This is my first Southbound brew. I want for this rating to be helpful to the brewers - constructive criticism and not just a damning with faint praise. Gents, I didnít like this beer, and donít think that itís something that you want to market as a first line brew. First, let me say that the Kokopelli iconography for a Georgia brewery is misplaced. The can was oddly compelling - someplace between a French King Louis thing and a 1960ís Donovan poster. Foggy blonde beer with a thin white head. The aroma - smells like the water thatís left over when you boil cheap hot dogs - coriander, meaty. Major stumble, but wits have an aroma problem due to the coriander leanings. Unfortunately, it tastes like hot dog water that has been given a spritz of stale orange juice. A little mineral, a bit flat. Very low bittering, lightish body. Can, Habershamís Beverage Warehouse, Abercorn, Savannah.

On tap @ Southbound --- Cloudy golden amber, white head that is very slow to recede, sheets of lace. Wheat malt with a slightly sour edge that adds a quick shot of sweet coriander and spice in the palate before fading quickly with mild battering. Very light, but reasonable hot weather brew.

Not a bad entry into Savannahís brewery. Nice spiced aroma, light body and flavor, just a but of harshness in the finish keeps it from being better.
