3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 decaturstevo (4157) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - APR 16, 2006
Golden amber beauty. Toasted malt and hops aroma. It was slightly fizzy at first but calms down to a good palate not watery. It has a light fruity/malt flavor with good bittering start to finish. One of many good beers I enjoyed here.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 tronraner (2459) - Walland, Tennessee, USA - JAN 31, 2006
Draught. Pours copper gold with white head. The citric hop aroma is typical for an American pale. The flavor is somewhat bitter hops and toast. Ok, but a bit bland.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 NachlamSie (2370) - Tennessee, USA - JAN 31, 2006
draught. Copper pour with a fading, white head. The aroma is faint of caramel and pine. The body is sweet with somewhat biting hops like pine and plastic. This pulls itself together a bit more in the finish, but I didn’t really go nuts over this one.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 DocLock (6826) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 31, 2006
Dark straw colored pour that stays more in the yellow than brown portion of the visible light spectrum. The aroma was hoppy and citric, with some floral spiciness. The flavor was citrusy and spicy hoppy up front, with some tropical fruit hints emerging at mid-palate. Nicely done!
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 GeneralGao (3614) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - OCT 21, 2005
Draught at the brewpub. Clear, light copper color with thin white head. Caramel and appealing flowery, citrus hop aroma. Mild hop bitterness with delicious hop flavor with nice grainy aftertaste. Very good beer.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 BeerHawk (1748) - Huntsville, Alabama, USA - JUL 5, 2005
Draft (Jacksonville); pours a creamy, off-white head with good lacing. Dark amber color. Roasted nuts and caramel aroma. Tastes of the same with some hops, simular to a brown ale. It was my favorite at Southend Brewery - Jacksonville and waiter suggested.
2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 austinpowers (2827) - New York, New York, USA - FEB 3, 2005
Herbal/floral hops and a medium body. I liked it, for the style. Southend puts a decent amount of hops in their beers.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 BeerandBlues2 (7466) - Hanover, Maryland, USA - DEC 28, 2004
Pours copper to nut brown with a creamy tan head. Hoppy malt aroma with a caramel nose. Light bitter malt flavor with a caramel malt finish. Fair lacing. Fizzy and medium palate.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 boto (1665) - Granby, Connecticut, USA - SEP 17, 2004
Draught: this one poured a fairly clear amber color. There was hardly any head at all, and what was there was off white. Again, another one of their beers has a very weak aroma. There was a hint of grapefruit hops to the nose, with about nothing else. The taste was OK, but a bit thin. Light malt body with a bit of bitterness, especially in the aftertaste. Boring.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 argo0 (10422) - Washington DC, USA - MAR 6, 2004
Clear copper body. Aroma is sweet, caramel. Taste is medium sweet, nutty, caramel, light floral. Light/medium body, moderately carbonated.
