Draught at the brewpub in Raleigh, NC. Opaque black with a thick, creamy brown head. Aptly named. There were a lot a hazelnuts injured in the making of this movie. Their revenge was exacted on the chocolate, coffee, raisin, and vanilla flavors and aromas trying to carve out their own meager existence. I smelled the hazelnuts before I lifted the glass off the bar. Carbonation was on the low end, which nicely complimented the full bodied, oily consistency. Interesting beer. If you like hazelnut coffe with extra hazelnut syrup, this is your beer.
