On tap at the Southend Brewery. Arrived at the table black with a thin, creamy head that lasted until mid-glass and left a coating of foam with each sip. Mild aroma of roasted malt. The flavor is roasted malt, unsweetened chocolate, and a bit of cardboard. Lingering mild bitterness at the finish. A bit lightbodied.

Draught in Charleston, SC. Pours black with small tan head. Aroma has some sweet malt overtones. The taste has little coffee and chocolate. The body is a bit light.

Tap. Charcoal and molasses aroma. Dark black with moderate sized but long lasting head. Light charcoal and chocolate oatmeal malt flavor. A bit light but nice flavor.

opaque black, wispy tan head, light sweet chocolate aroma, low carbonation,nice sweet and rich chocolate flavor, a hint of vanilla, an intreaging mix on the malts yields more character than the standard stout, award to Charlotte on this one
