From a bottle. Big piney aroma, thick mouth feel, certainly lives up to the name with heaps of resinous hop flavours. Good stuff.

Bottle. Poured a medium-dark cloudy amber with a thin fine head. Tropical aromas of pineapple and stone fruit. Rich enough without ever being sticky, and flavoursome, but lacked a certain something that might make me go and buy it again before other IPAs.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
330mL bottle from Slowbeer. BB 09/06/16
Hazy pale copper body, holds are rather solid white inch of head.
Pungent hops burst from the aroma - resiny, herbal, tropical fruity, guava, papaya, mango-sort of thing happening. Some toasted malt goodness in there too.
Full bodied, subdued creamy carbonation, bit of chewy malt in there too.
Really not what I was expecting on the body - plenty of malt here, biscuity, caramel, toasty, slight bit nutty, provides some backbone and sweetness for those resiny hops - notes of green mango & papaya, pineapple, passionfruit, kiwano(!?), dried leafy herbs. Lots of punch, bitterness high without being overly abrasive.
A bit different, hop combination I probably haven’t come across before and more malty goodness than most IPAs.

A pleasant IPA at 5.6%. Not that punchy but super pine aroma brings in the drinker. Bitter middle but bit light at end. 1.5 std driks. 330ml.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
From a 330ml bottle on 9/6/2015. Pours a cloudy golden orange with a small head. Has a pleasant light passionfruit nose. The flavour is fruity, featuring orange, mandarin, grapefruit and peach. There’s a reasonable dash of hops in evidence, if perhaps a touch short of bazooka status. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Basic but quite enjoyable.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hop Bazooka eh? Lofty claims. Fortunately it is a pretty balanced affair. Pour is hazy orange with a white head and plenty of lacing. Aroma is an interesting mix of piney hop resin with a bit of sweetness, honey perhaps?
Flavour is a pleasent upfront burst of grapegruit with some biscuity/bread notes. Finish is a good punch of hops, but not harsh or acrid.
Given the precise nature, I would think of this more a hop sniper than bazooka. Either way, enjoyable stuff.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Big and hoppy, almost too much hops initially on the palate but very enjoyable. Pine and floral, with citrus coming through with a good malt balance. Definitely would drink again.
