2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
From a bottle. Pours clear amber with minimal head, quite hoppy for a pilsner, but still quite smooth.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours cloudy golden color with a minimal head. Smells like a fruity pale ale. Tastes pretty sweet and therefore more like a pale ale and not like a crisp pilsner. The only thing that resembles a pilsner is maybe the slightly bitter finish. Smooth texture and good carbonation. I like it.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from Slowbeer. Super-pale golden, thin white head, grainy, honey aromas, touch of yeast, low bitterness, some honey sweetness, light body, thin palate. Ok, not a stand-out.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
It pours transparent yellow and has a very distinct and specific Vegemite aroma. It has a smokey taste but otherwise lacking, still interesting.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hard to say much here. Not particularly hoppy (despite what the commercial description says), rather a broad palate with subtle bitterness. Nothing wrong, just so middle of the road.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
330ml stubbie. BB 14/02/2014. Poured a semi-translucent golden colour with a one-finger white foamy head that retained OK and laced OK. Moderate carbonation as seen by large bubbles forming trails. Aroma is sweet with malt and a touch of hops. Taste initially sweet followed by a mild hops bitterness. Light to medium body. Moderately long mildly bitter finish. OK.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Comes across as one very unusual Pilsener starting off with its hazy, sandy yellow body and fine conditioning. Head is little more than a limp, splash of white that manages just a little lace. Aroma of barnyard grain and granola atop a strange touch of stewed rhubarb, Shao-Xing wine, lemon-pepper and kelp. Has a rubbery note to the palate that is just a little unsettling. The aroma playing into the finish where it is bitter but wishy-washy and a tad oily. Not much length; herbal, peppery and sour. Grainy mid-palate with a touch of honey giving a restrained sweetness. Too much that is just not right with this. Hoped for more so onto the re-rate pile! (33cL, BB 10/12/13, Cellarbrations Carlisle)

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Not a bad pilsner. Some pleasant hoping in this one gives a slightly interesting edge to this beverage. Nice for a one off and something a little different.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A lovely, fragrant aroma of banana, grain, spices, honey and a little bit of lemon. There are more hops in the mouth, but they’re a very mild grapefruit flavour with some honey, butter and plum. A pleasant offering on this warm Spring evening. Drunk from a Prince Wine Store (Essendon) squealer.
