Bottle at first Wednesday tasting @ de Molen. Clear golden pour with floaties. Aroma of fruity malts, honey, some ripe fruits, a hint of resin. Flavor is quite sweet, malty, fruity and with a decent body. A bit boring, but well drinkable.

Bottle: Deep golden with a copperish sheen, hazy, small to medium-sized stable and creamy off-white head with a small lacework; sweet bready-nutty nose, including also a tinge of vanilla and some balancin tannic hops; moderate to solid sweet and slightly bitter flavour, nesrly full bodied, a bit sticky; slightly lingering, drier, sweet-bitter finish with an illusion of hops in the aftertaste. Good, but too sweet to be really great…

From notes. Tasted on 12/23/12 from a bottle. Pours clear orange with an average off-white head that leaves average lace. The nose is malty bread with a touch of caramel and kids vitamin dusty hops. The flavor is really all about the bread with the hops a bit more of a crisp spicy note. The body is medium with average carbonation and a medium malty and lightly bitter hops finish.

On draught at Second Annual Humbug Lager Fest at Occidental Brewing. Golden color. Aroma is bready sweet malts and a hint of grass hops. Taste is caramel, biscuit, sweet malt, slightly bitter grass hops. The hops balance the sweetness nicely.

Clear copper color with beige head, creamy, fine bubbles. Very sweet, caramel, prunes, malt. Sweet, doughy, some cloves. Alcohol well masked. A bit too sweet for my taste but well made.
