3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
22 picked up at Brewer’s Haven Boise (but I have seen it other places) .... Paid about $4.50ish... Poured into my large tulip... clear light orange... nice persistent white head with good sheets of lacing. Good bitterness... seems like a "Session IPA"... very light maltiness never really recovers from the bitter bite and citrus hops scrape away everything and make your palate ready for the next sip... Light body with a pretty aggressive carbonation... The bottle goes away pretty quickly, not bad but could use some refinement, but I might buy it again.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Golden color, not much character. Lots or bubbles. Smells flat.... and tastes it too. Nothing special really, just passable

4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Whatever hops they chose to use in this beer, they are presented perfectly. This beer tastes very great. It’s robust too. A fine job done.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy copperish color with a very small white head on it. Nose is somewhat light and some some hops to it, though they tend to be more resiny than anything else. Taste is moderately bitter and uncomplex, though the hops taste a little old. Meh.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
08-Sep-11 (22-oz bottle: Purchased 17-Feb-11 for $3.99 at John’s Marketplace in Portland, OR)
There’s nothing particularly wrong with this IPA; it’s balanced and easy to drink, but it’s just generic and not especially flavorful. Lightly sweet malt with a standard pale ale, cereal flavor are joined by floral, grassy hops with light-medium bitterness. The body is slightly hazy and golden in color with several steady streams of carbonation rising through the beer and the white head pours to about an inch before settling to a persistent, creamy, eighth-inch layer, leaving a wide ring of lacing on the glass. Overall, it’s not bad, but it tastes like a generic brewpub beer, and it’s absolutely not going to be memorable.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours hazy, feels thick. Pretty light hop taste for an IPA. Got it on mega sale for $1.88. Won’t get it again.

Draft. Pours gold with a white head. Sweet malts, diacetyl, and light fruity hops. Not good.

2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 7/20
Tastes kind of like a cross between a kolsch and an IPA. Very drinkable, but not your typical IPA.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
October 2011. 22 oz. bottle bought at Albertson’s. A bit of a disappointment with this one knowing some of the best IPA’s out there are from this area. Caramel, pine, hops and citrus aromas are there, but all very muted and bland. It’s drinkable, but so many better choices out there.
