22oz bottle - poured a clear light honey color with a smallish head. Aroma similar to GD Titan and somewhat earthy flavored and almost sweet. Nice bottle art!

Bottle at home. Aroma of malt, citrus notes, floral notes, hops. Flavour is rather bitter. Body is medium. I tend to prefer my IPA more fruity, but definitely enjoyed the long bitter flavour of this beer.

Bomber. Pours a clear yellow color with a medium white head. A light pils malt, corn nose. The flavor is light lemon, biscuit, bitterness, green hops. Ok. Not great.

That’s the least American IPA I ever had. The aroma is weak with mostly grains and alcohol. The fruitiness comes mostly from esters since there is a lot of pear and banana in it. The bitterness isn’t overwhelming but it’s long and lasting. Overall the beer is drinkable but by all means it doesn’t come close to juicy hippiness of a typical AIPA.

Very small white head which disappears quickly. Light aroma. Little malty sweetness. Hops coming through but not much fruityness. Taste is pretty bitter even for an IPA. Again, not much fruit. Just hop bitterness. Low ABV and very refreshing. Good.

Can from On the Fly Gasmart. A bit tame for a NW IPA, mellow aroma, more malt than hops. Pours out a nice medium amber with decent fluffy head. Taste again brings the malts in first, with a bit of hop funkiness halfway through. Finishes with some minor pine resin flavor.

Appearance: Lightly hazy yellow color with a medium sized off-white head leaving some lacing. . Aroma: is malts, hops, light citrus and orangepeel.l Taste malts, light citrus tone with a big Hoppy bitterness, but not much else. Medium body and carbonation. Bit dull one trick pony.

Bottle @ home. Lightly hazy yellow color, medium sized off-white head that lasts for a decent while and leaves fair lacing. Aroma is malts, hops, lightly citrus, some orangepeel. Taste malts, hops, only lightly fruity but a firm bitterness. Medium body and carbonation. One of the more bitter, less fruity IPA’s. Certainly nice, but I prefer the IPA’s stuffed with fruity hops.

Bomber. Color amarillo con punto anaranjado brillante. Espuma blanca poca formación persistencia media. Aromas maltosos frutales con fondo resinado potente. En coca mismas sensaciones, dulzura media, margir alto. Punto pegajoso. Final largo resinado. Me gustan este tipo de IPAs.

Clear golden colour. The sweet and slightly fruity, malty aroma is quite pronounced and leads to a similar taste. The hop bitterness comes totally in the aftertaste. Really dry.

Bottle from Fred Meyer, Portland / Hollywood District
Hazy golden color. Unimpressive aroma, paper, old grains, light puke. Smooth mouthfeel, fairly dry; it has a pleasant malt job, with a grainy attitude, cereals, some caramel, very light biscuits; strong bitterness, with a touch of bitter citrus, but the hopping is not exciting.
Good beer, failing to impress.
