65cl bottle, served in Duvel glass. Pours deep dark brown, almost black, with small beige head. Aroma is chocolate, roasted malts, brown sugar and hints of licorice. The flavour is more on the roasted malt side with cereals. Actually it is closer to a Stout beer than a Porter. Regarding palate, it is quite light bodied for a beer like this, and there’s minimal sweetness on the aftertaste...only some bitter notes. As already pointed above, except on the aroma, everything is very Stout-like. Carbonation, by the way, is ok. Overall it’s a good brew, doesn’t matter what it looks like.
