Purchased 22oz bomber at Mazama Village Store. Pours a dark brown with a substantial off-white head which lingers for a good while. The aroma is chocolate, coffee, roasted malt and a hint of floral presence. The taste is dark chocolate, toasted malt, and a touch of dried fruit. Medium body and a rich aftertaste of chocolate and malt. This is a great port.

Thanks Hayduke. This looks like a porter but with is exceptional with a thicker than usual head that has good staying power. Aroma is roasted malt with lots of thick rich dark fruit, chocolate and a bit of smoke. Feel is fizzy which is a pleasant surprise. It also feels more substantial than the typical porter. Flavor is similar to the flavor. Finish is chocolate with dark fruit. Porter is one of my favorite styles and this one is near the top of the heap. Very well done!

22. Pours an opaque black with a dense and creamy dark tan head that leaves tons of lace and really hangs around for a while. Big sweet dark chocolate nose with undertones of dark fruit, pruney. Creamy medium body, soft carb. Chocolate and mild dark fruit notes on the mid-palate with a mild sweet finish. Not bad but doesn’t have too much in the way of individual identity.

Purchased 22-oz bomber from Liquid Solutions before it was called Pin Up Porter. Pours a semi-clear dark brown colored brew with a thick beige head that slowly dissipates and has excellent lacing. Aroma of toasted dark malt, a hint of chocolate/coffee, floral hops and roasted nuts. Taste is medium bodied, with flavors of toasted dark malt, dark chocolate, a hint of fruit and some mild spice. Finish is semi-dry with a toasted dark malt and chocolate aftertaste. Nice solid porter. My favorite of their regular year-round beers.

This is a solid porter. Nice interplay between chocolate and coffee and some roasted notes. I don’t taste any smokiness which is good for me. Easy to drink. Nice brown color with a bit of a tan head.

Kind of weak in the palate. Pours a brown with tan head. Notes of roast and chocolate, but kind of cardboard tasting. Not horrible, but just not that full flavored. Still, nice balance of sweet and roast.

22 ounce bottle thanks to BrewDad. Pours a deep brown color with a thick white head. A sweet nutty aroma, light coffee and toasted malts. A nice mellow- but flavorful- taste of nuts, milky coffee, light roasted malts. Good.
