On tap at beertemple, amsterdam. Body is clear deep amber, head is big, offwhite, rocky, average lasting, excellent lacing. Nose is sourish malty, flavor is caramel, malt, light spices. Medium sweet, medium hoppy bitter. Finish is long lasting hoppy medium bitter, light sweet. Medium to full body, sticky texture, soft carbonation. Easy dessertish beer, tasty, good one.

Thanks to Benzai! 650 ml. bottle sampled @ “Hot & Sweaty RBBSG 2015”. Deep amber, little head. Nose is harsh bitter, unbalanced pine resin with some caramel in the background & light metallic note. Taste is lightly metallic with harsh pine resin, unbalanced, doesn’t jell with the caramel base, light malt, unbalanced, harsh, caramel & bread sweetness that is totally separate, some bitter pine resin malts,… Bitter, unbalanced, harsh & lightly metallic. Okay but too unbalanced & lightly flawed in my opinion.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared by Joes. Clear amber color, medium sized white to off-white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly hops, slightly sweetish, slightly leaves, mainly a sort of dusty bitter, a hint of iron. Decent body and carbonation. Ok beer.

Bottle. Pours an auburn amber with a good, off-white head that leaves a really nice lacing. Aroma is wooden, some caramel, light hoppy flowers and citrus. Taste is caramel, lightly sweet, some pine, wooden, light citrus, Fairly light, good carbonation. Very enjoyable quaffer. High drinkability.
