2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Poured from a can into a shaker:
Pours a hazy golden straw color, with a pale, thin head that dissipates quickly. There is some lacing present, but it quickly disappears too. The nose is grassy, with lemon and honey notes. The mouth feel is acceptable, what you'd expect from this type of ale; it's not a thick stout, but it's not a thin lager either.
The taste disappoints; there are grassy and sour doughy notes present, and also a bit of lemon, but this is balanced by an alcoholic bitterness unacceptable in a beer with an ABV this low. The finish is bitter, medicinal. This could be a decent "set it and forget it" beer, but the bitter alcoholic kick removes that possibility.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can. Extra from trade. Slightly cloudy straw yellow. Nose of lightly floral hops, some wheat. Light bready malts, pretty clean finish. Decent blonde if that’s your thing.

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Hd this twice, at the Great Arkansas Beer Festival and at Flying Saucer San An. Both times it was light, easy to drink, hay, straw, light citrus. Middle of the road.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Appearance: slightly hazy medium gold, very creamy white head slowly shrinking to a thick cap. Aroma: creamed corn, grass, light honey, white toast. Taste: slightly sour when at fridge temp, sweeter and more bready as it warms, but there’s some unpleasant, watery metal in there too. Finish: the best part of the beer, the finish evokes freshly baked white bread. Notes: Painfully average. Initially it’s not great, but the finish keeps it from being below mediocre. Can from Buddy’s Beer Barn in El Paso, Texas.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Can. Golden color with a really big quickly disappearing head. Aroma was weak, watery, like old monster brand beer. Taste was bitter in an unpleasant way. Taste of corn and other undesirables.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
CAN to glass. Pours a light yellow color with light white head. Aroma is hay, grass, grains. Pretty plain. Taste is the same, hay, grass, a faint pepper. Like an improved Coors light. Not my style. At least is thirst quenching in a hot day
