Can. Ahazy dark golden beer with an orangey head. The aroma has notes of fruit and malt. The flavor is sweet and sour with notes of malt, something skunky, and wheat, leading to a dry finish. The body is light.

Hd this twice, at the Great Arkansas Beer Festival and at Flying Saucer San An. Both times it was light, easy to drink, hay, straw, light citrus. Middle of the road.

Straw colour with light haze. Smells like wet hay with a light fruitiness. Slight acidity, barny notes and husky malts. Not terribly flavourful and the rusticity does nothing for it.

A: The pour is a clear golden color with a lot of tiny carbonation bubbles emanating from from the bottom and forming a finger’s worth of off-white head. S: Sweet malts with a surprising amount of citrus, grass, and floral hops. A bit of a sourdough bread thing going on, which strangely enough, I like. T: The hops are not quite as present, but they are lightly floral and some sweet citrus notes. The malt is the primary feature of this beer, and again its got a bit of a sourdough character. M: The body is light to medium with a lively carbonation, as I would have guess from the appearance. D: I’m not usually one for blonde ales, but this was quite nice. Easy to drink and fairly complex.

Can from ericandersnavy. Thanks a bunch. Being home from the state fair, I probably shouldn’t do this, but the label has seduced me. Pours peachy gold with a 4-finger white head. Aroma is light stone fruit- dare I suggest peach? - over some mild caramel. Medium minus body with frothy carbonation. To me the main flavor is freestone peach. Finishes lightly fruity with mild bitter. Maybe a bit malty, but not much. Fruit rules this one.
