2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
A: The pour is a clear golden color with a lot of tiny carbonation bubbles emanating from from the bottom and forming a finger’s worth of off-white head.
S: Sweet malts with a surprising amount of citrus, grass, and floral hops. A bit of a sourdough bread thing going on, which strangely enough, I like.
T: The hops are not quite as present, but they are lightly floral and some sweet citrus notes. The malt is the primary feature of this beer, and again its got a bit of a sourdough character.
M: The body is light to medium with a lively carbonation, as I would have guess from the appearance.
D: I’m not usually one for blonde ales, but this was quite nice. Easy to drink and fairly complex.

Growler, courtesy GodofThunder
Straw colour with light haze. Smells like wet hay with a light fruitiness. Slight acidity, barny notes and husky malts. Not terribly flavourful and the rusticity does nothing for it.
