3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
A great beer. Iím not normally into blondes, however this one has complexity and personality. Itís still a mild, smooth drinking beer, however with itís unmolested ingredients it offers up a nice flavor profile that may please individuals who love unfiltered beers, but donít want something super sweet or extremely citrusy (or flavored by spices and herbs). This isnít very bitter at all, and itís a great beer for camping. It is THE beer that convinced me canned beers can taste great (really). And itís great on tap too!

12oz can (courtesy of Headbanger) poured into a Shaker at 42į. Color is a hazy golden with good carbonation and a tall frothy head. Aroma is sweet and makes me think of creamed corn. It has a medium body with a fizzy mouth feel. Flavor is sweet and like the aroma it comes across with like creamed corn only with powdered malt added. Then some yeast shows giving a bread taste and a hint of hops. After taste is dry and yeast turns a little Belgian. Overall this is an interesting brew and although it comes across a little sweet at first, its actually a complex brew and the Belgian note makes it quite tasty.

This beer was a good ale it poured light and had a good taste for coming in a can. It's a good summer beer to drink multiples of not worth a high price though.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Poured from a can into a shaker:
Pours a hazy golden straw color, with a pale, thin head that dissipates quickly. There is some lacing present, but it quickly disappears too. The nose is grassy, with lemon and honey notes. The mouth feel is acceptable, what you'd expect from this type of ale; it's not a thick stout, but it's not a thin lager either.
The taste disappoints; there are grassy and sour doughy notes present, and also a bit of lemon, but this is balanced by an alcoholic bitterness unacceptable in a beer with an ABV this low. The finish is bitter, medicinal. This could be a decent "set it and forget it" beer, but the bitter alcoholic kick removes that possibility.

Bready without much hops, but not overly sweet. Decent. Nothing special, but a nice beer.

Hd this twice, at the Great Arkansas Beer Festival and at Flying Saucer San An. Both times it was light, easy to drink, hay, straw, light citrus. Middle of the road.
