3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy gold with an off-white head that sticks around due to the lively carbonation level. Aroma of Bread. Smooth tasting on the first sip and thereafter. Finishes clean and somewhat bland. Overall an excellent blond ale. Better than most brewpubs produce.

2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours a cloudy light gold with a thin white head. Some yeast particles float in the beer.
Smells of really sweet bready malts. No hop presence at all. Hopefully the taste is better cause this thing smells awful. I kind of thought it may be skunked until it tasted fine.
Bready malts coming through on the taste, but not nearly as overwhelming as the nose. Just a little hop bitterness which is about right for the style. A little pungent bitter aftertaste is detectable.
Fairly light mouthfeel although good and creamy for the style. Good carbonation, but not overdone as on a lot of lighter ales.
Overall this is a solid offering, especially since it comes in a sometimes more friendly can format, as long as I don’t have to smell it much. It still doesn’t close to unseating Sun King for my go to lighter ale.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Golden pour retains more lace than expected. Sweet malt bomb aroma supplemented by a basket of mild hops. Smooth taste of creamy malt and subdued hops. Low carbonation for the style. Decent for a canned session beer, I guess.
