Thick black with a off white head. Subtle aroma. Smooth, rich taste with a slight boozy aftertaste. Silky, but a little thin, mouthfeel. Overall, excellent. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(Draught) cloudy brown with fine tan bubbles. Nose is very heavy of oak, cola, vanilla, dr pepper and chocolate. Taste of heavy French oak tannins, chocolate, bitter oils of wood, slick palate finish, boring and disappointing. The original is a better beer, but I’m glad they experimented with this.
