Can:   Darker amber, dull, thin sandy head, little lacing.   Soft bready nose, a little dull toffee or caramel.   Bready up front, a bit mealy, soft nuttiness, with the aformentioned toffee/caramel albeit very very soft.   A little flat on the tongue, body is moderate.   Nothing to exceptional about this one.   Not as rustic or farmhouse as I would have liked.   Middle of the road at best.   Thanks Bill!

12oz can. Clear copper color with tan sheen. Fruity, bready, caramel malty sweet aromas. medium body. Lightly sweet, earthy pit fruit flavors with caramel, bready yeast--good bdg

Nephilium (1259) - Ohio, USA - AUG 7, 2012
Caramel/biscuit aroma. Pours a clear reddish amber, with a thin white head. Mild taste, with a touch of sweet malts and a hint of caramel. Full bodied, with a little lingering roasted aroma. Overall a fairly disappointing beer for the price ($10 a 4 pack).

Suttree (4903) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - JUL 30, 2012
Cloudy Brown, loose bubbly head. Smells like caramel and cola, with some bready, toasty notes. Flavor has some cola-like sweetness, kinda nutty, with a dryish, woody finsh. Thanks to rougeau13 for the trade!

it appears I like this much more than anyone else?? can to glass; can had been in cabinet for a few months; new style for me - what’s not to like here?? Sweet malty aroma with some toffe. orange amber cloudy hazy pour. Taste is well balanced and ends with slight spices and dry. Style says best aged; six pack purchase coming!!

Poured into a tulip. 3.0 A: Hazed orange plum color. Two fingers of frothy beige head. Retention is average, but not lacing is left. 3.5 S: Earthy foremost, grainy, toasted malts, nutty, and perhaps slightly herbal. It smells good, but it’s just too damn faint. 4.0 T: Taste is more aggressive and I’m thrilled about that. Super grainy, toasty, nutty with a light caramel. Fairly dry. Nonspecific earthiness. Tasty and well balanced. 3.5 M: Lighter medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Just faintly creamy. Decent here. 3.5 D: This is a very tasty beer, but the taste could you some more power and the nose could use a lot. Still, I enjoyed this much. Serving type: can Reviewed on: 05-30-2012 01:21:09

Hazy red/copper pour with no head. Aroma is bread, sweet caramel, and fruit. Taste is the same with bitterness in the finish. Slightly.metallic after taste.

12 oz. can courtesy of a trade with crajun. Pours a hazy dirty gold with a thin-moderate off-white head that evaporates before the second sip and leaves no lace. Pleasant aroma of toffee and caramel. The flavor is where this beer falls apart a bit. Toffee and butterscotch along with a bit of overripe fruit. Very mild bitterness at the finish. Medium bodied. Not a fan.

Hazy orange/amber pour, not much of a head. Aroma is full on caramel malt, honey and some overripe fruit notes. Flavor has honeycomb, orange, caramel. Not so great.
