Looks like apple juice with a splash of cranberry. A bit of off-white head early on but quickly fades. Aroma is fruity and earthy. Very sweet and a little effervescent on the tongue.

Amber bright color. Light beige colored head. Clear. The smell is fruity esters, play dough, bready. Sort of off, reminds me of some homebrews that I did not think we’re overly successful. Getting a little better as it warms. Fruit taste, coastal straw, bread, and yeast.

Cloudy amber-reddish color with thin small-bubbled head. Wheat nose with some wet leaves thrown in. Subtle spices. Medium bodied mouthfeel with oily finish. Lacks depth of flavors, with only light malt and some sweetness as the main profile.

Dark pour, fruit salad taste with some malt and hay thrown. Kind of a confusing blend of tastes, yet somehow it works. Decent.

12oz can. Very odd dull amber pour with very little head. Lots of banana aroma and flavor - grains and caramel. Some spices but overall thin and just decent.

Pour is Copper, with small lasting off white head..Aroma of Malts..Taste is Caramel and toffee with bread and malts ...Easy and light on the palate with malts lingering and warming sensation..This is a solid easy drinking beer but I am curious on the abv.

Poured the strangest dark urine colour- I have used that descriptor many times, but this was just very odd looking. Very little head and way too sweet for the style. Have these guys even ever had a BdG before, ’cause thhis was not even close.

Can...pours amber with a red tint and fast fading beige head. Not much aroma to speak of, vague hop, faint earth and hints of attic. Flavor is better, has an aged flavor blended in with hints of grain, faint hop, light earth, subtle malt with a butter note in the back. Light-medium body with medium-high carbonation....all said and done, I enjoyed it.

Can. Pours a nice cloudy amber with a subtle white head. Aroma is sweetened floral water with a hint of autumn leaves. Flavor is watery buttered leaves with a dull lipstick finish. Watery on the tongue. Seems incomplete.

UPDATED: JUN 13, 2012 Re-rate from a can.

The beer has a much more grainy taste that I don’t really care for. Overall, the beer is not as good as I once remembered.

Growler from Whole Foods. The beer pours a hazy brown color with an off-white head. The aroma has a little bit of toffee in it as well as some biscuit malt. There is also a little bit of orange and apple in the aroma. The flavor is similar with a few additions. I get a lot of toffee and apple notes, as well as some yeast and spice notes. There is also some cherry in the flavor which is pretty nice. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
