3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
16oz can acquired in trade with bu11zeye (thanks!). Poured a medium to deeper amber color with a huge sized (5 finger) off white head. Aromas of pine, toasted malts, caramel, and citrus. Tastes of caramel, lighter citrus, and lighter pine. Tastes a bit of a let down compared to the very nice aromas. Body on the thin and weaker side.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
16oz can to imperial pint glass. Pours cloudy amber with a moderate sized white head, some lace. Smells mellow citrusy, slightly bitter, slightly sweet. Tastes malty sweet and caramelly up front with a slow building and lingering hop bitterness. Very nice flavors, solid pale ale, nice hops. Medium body, good carbonation.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a dark copper-amber color with a frothy, well retained, cream colored head. Thick, solid rings of lacing circle the glass. Aromas are heavy on caramel, toffee, and toasty malts, along with a potent grapefruit and orange hop billing. Flavors show excellent balance, with the big, caramelly malts being countered by substantial citrus hop notes. Very creamy. Medium-full bodied, moderately carbonated, and incredibly smooth. Finishes with lingering citrus hops. Very, very similar to its canned brethren, Oskar Blues Dale’s Pale Ale. Nice beer.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
cans! I like them. Pour amber with a nice white head. Aroma is strong grapefruit and just a bit of sugar. Similar flavor, some earth and rind in there as well. fInishes a little sour, bitter. Kind of reminds me of boxed grapefruit juice, but I like it.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sample @ Flying Saucer Draught Emporium (Houston). Mild sweet malt and floral aroma. Amber body with white head. Flavor of a citrus sticky candy sucker. Also some flavor of cough syrup. Thicker malt blended body with mediun sweetener. Good beer different than most APA’s I’ve had lately.

16oz can, courtesy of CaptainCougar. Thanks, Tom! Pours a clear, bright orange-amber color; off-white head with medium-bubbled lacing. Solid earthiness and citrus bitterness in the aroma; dry, bitter pale ale with a light candy sugar core. Medium mouthfeel: lots of earthy and citrus bitterness; soft edges; lively carbonation; some floral notes and candy sugar present as well; quite drinkable. Medium finish: lingering earthy bitterness, minerals, and candy sugar; dry throughout.
