3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Heyyy, a little bit of Texas made available in Chicago! Can’t complain.
Has a great, piney aroma true to the name, with some good zesty citrus and bitter hops to seal the deal. Solid!

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: JUN 4, 2013 Poured from tall boy can into glass mug. Pours a clear golden with a thick fluffy white head. Leaves some lacing on the glass. Aroma is sweet and hoppy with notes of pineapple and citrus. The majority of the taste is upfront and hoppy. Average carbonation with a clean mouthfeel. Overall a really good beer especially during the summer by the pool since its clean, not too heavy, and comes in a can.

Now this is a sweet pale ale hat satisfies. The lack of filtering helps to prevent the lack of flavor so common in other pales that try to balance their hoppy bitterness with malty sweet. This achieves well with a beautiful pour into the glass and a thick malty head.
Definitely floral forward, the hops are pleasantly present and song of spring

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy orange copper pour. Medium off white head with mild lacing. Aroma is pretty heavy on pine aroma. Malt sweetness is fairly noticeable in the aroma as well. Flavors aren't quite as pronounced. Still on the piney side with reasonable malt backbone.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught. Pours an amber color with a moderate white head. Nose is just a little bit hoppy (as is the taste), and ends up being an OK beer. Nothing special, but decent.

Pours very cloudy orange-brown with a craggy, tan head.
Scent is very bright pine....spicy citrus...
maybe a little sharp coconut/pineapple?
Nice, creamy soft, buttery bitter.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sweet pine and citrus aroma, brownish gold pour. Toasty crystal flavor with citrusy to pine hop that gets a bit sharp at the end but is not rough. Very drinkable. Relatively simple palate on first glance but hop and toasted malt characters give this some intrigue. Would buy again. Up near some of the better IPAs.

16oz can poured into a shaker. Pours a clear, dark burnt orange with a half finger of thick white head. Aroma of sweet citrus and pine with a good dose of caramel. Taste is light bitter. Dank pine and citrus hops with some grapefruit and caramel. Medium bodied with a somewhat thin texture. Lively carbonation and a very long finish. Overall, pretty good. I would gladly drink this again.

3.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
The aroma is a strong pine fragrance. Pours a hazzy amber with a frothy dissapating white head and nice lacing. The taste is citrusy/piney/hoppy flavor initially followed by a bready finish and grainy aftertaste. Medium body and medium carbonation. Overall, I liked this beer. A good summer time brew.
