Pours a slightly cloudy amber color with a thick and foamy off-white head that diminishes gradually. Sticky rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops and caramel malt. 2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Can:   Deep reddish caramel, thin to moderate foamy tannish head, nice lacing.   Husky aroma, malt forward, strong grainy notes.   Hop side, not so much.   Yeah, really husky on the nose.   Mealy and malty up front, also very husky.   This is a very much malt driven IIPA, but not a clean one.   Soft astringent grainy bitterness follows.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Finishes way to husky and grainy for a Double IPA.   This was a let down... ugh, can’t finish the rest...   Thanks Bill!

Orange with a white head. The aroma is full of pine and toffee. The flavor is similar, with some toffee notes and a ton of sugary sweetness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Definitely not as good as expected. I have another can in the fridge and look forward to re-trying it.
