355ml can. Beaut of an orangeish amber pour. Slightly hazed. The aroma is citrus, dank, pine, caramel, spice, herbs. A well-rounded scent. Flavor is pineapple, orange juice, mimosa, slight pine, citrus rind, medium bitterness, some malt backing. Tangy and juicy. Wow this is fuckin good.

Clear brilliant golden with a lasting white foamy head. Earthy leafy farm hops on the nose. Bit of a bitter brew with a earthy hop dankness that’s not super enjoyable, just earthy and eh. Nice backing of earthy biscuity caramel, finishing with bitterness and booze.

4.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Literally smells like fresh fruit juice. Probably the most pineapple I have ever smelled in a beer. It literally smells like someone sliced open a fresh pineapple and squeezed into the beer. Taste is the same. Just massive amounts of fresh pineapple juice with a really nice hoppy bitterness. There’s a subtle brown sugar taste in the back of the mouth. This one is just a killer double IPA. Texas has some really amazing beers and this one is probably at the top. Never had so much awesome pineapple flavor in a beer before. Really surprised by this one, definitely try it.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Rich, deep copper, amber and bronze coloured body with a muddied orange glow and a thick, rich two centimetre tall tan head - very nice looking. Aroma of alcohol, pine, candy sugar, apricots, yeast, bread and quite a bit of grapefruit and passionfruit. Full-bodied; Rich chewy flavour with the hops hitting strong and hard but then fading to a nice sweetness of fruits and a heavy malt quality. Aftertaste shows a bit of hop bitterness on the end with a little malty richness, alcohol and caramel flavours toward the finish. Overall, a nice imperial IPA in a can!!! A good beer that I wasn’t sure what to expect, but executed fairly well and showing some good flavours consistently, all with a very nice body. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whip In in Austin, Texas on 05-May-2014 for US$2,69 sampled at home in Washington on 05-December-2014.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
I’m not really an IPA guy, but this was a great tasting and super-balanced brew especially in light of the higher ABV

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Light brown pour. Small thick head and lots of lacing. Lots of pine on the nose. The body has a decent hop presence but it's muddled and there is an unpleasant sweetness

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Can - Pours hazy amber with a filmy off white head. Nose is pine and citrus hops with lots of orange marmalade and thick sweet malt. Taste is drier up front, with herbal and pine hops. Sweet malt comes in the finish, really bitter with honey sweetness. Thinnish and highly carbonated.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dåse: Tredje øl. Foreløbigt den bedste, minder meget om vestkyst IPA. Humlet aroma med en god del maltsødme. Smagen er let bitter men med masser af pungent humle. Fin øl og bestemt drikbar.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a dark amber with a medium tan head. Aroma of floral, citrus fruits, biscuit, and resin. Taste is the same and had a malty sweetness to it that blended well with the bitter. Nothing stands out as amazing, but overall decent double IPA.
