Had this while it was Pro-Am 2012, reviewed from notes: Pours a nice clear amber color with white head. Pine, citrus, and floral notes on the nose; follows onto the palate. Lots of hop resin on the palate. Very nice.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz can in a tulip. Pours amber with a cream-colored head. Aroma of floral and resinous and lightly citrusy hops, some pale and caramel malts, and dough. Flavor the same. Average texture. A pretty standard double IPA.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Appearance is clear medium to dark copper with lacy proteinaceous head with good retention. Hops dominate nose with pine predominant with some background citrus and earth. Taste is well balanced between bitterness and malt. Hops presence is experienced primarily through bitterness as opposed to flavor. Mouthfeel is rich but not syrupy and appropriate to style.

2.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Dark Amber brew with lots of pinish hop aroma. Thick beer that had the hop flavor that was expected but too much sweetness from the malts. Seemed almost like it should have been allowed to ferment longer to take down the sweetness. For the price would like to have had better and a bottle rather than the can.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bronze pour, thin but resolute head. Nose is caramel and pine. Bittersweet. Coats the tongue. Middle is sweet malt and bright citrus fruit. Finish is LONG bitterness! You donít taste the alcohol but you do feel it.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Poured from the 1 Pint, 0.9 fluid ounce edition. Appearance is amber to orange in color, cloudy with floaters, decent head that laces the glass through a few sips. Aroma is nice but the taste is hard to figure out and at first seems beyond bitter to chemical/astringent, and then my palate seemed to adjust a little improving satisfaction. Iím a fan of IPAís and this one falls in the middle of it ... better than most Iíve brewed but room for improvement.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at RBWG 2014, thanks! Pours a near clear amber with a near white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a syrupy pine note with some resin and a bit of sweet grains underlying. Flavor has a resinous pine note with a touch of grapefruit and a bread backing.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Fresh can. Pours clear gold with tall white head. Aroma is aggressively citrus. Nice amount of grapefruit and orange in this one with some lemon notes. Sweet caramel and toffee in the background. Maybe a little too sweet here and syrupy. Not bad though. Iíd go back for another.
