Moderate corn nose. Hazy amber, medium foamy head. Surprising intensity, very lagery, corn is dominant, just sweet enough to temper the intensity. Grass appears at midpalate, significantly strong for the style. Some cherry notes are also present. Medium body. I have not had a great deal of experience with this style, but this is by far the most memorable.

A clear golden orange beer with a barely there white head. The aroma is sweet malt and lots of grain with a little fruitiness. The flavor is lemon and grain with a barely bitter hop finish.

Pours dark gold with a nice white head that leaves a lot of lacing. The aroma just kind of screams beer with a nice mix of malt and hop. The taste is very well balanced with solid flavor. Quite different, not exactly remarkable, but definitely drinkable especially at 8%.

Amber pour and an unexciting grain aroma. The flavor is a little odd - strong grains (rye?), a fair amount of sweetness, a little tangerine, and some citrus peel bitterness. The hops lay low, but it is still hard to believe that this is a steam beer. It is one of the better ones imo.

Light body with a nice white head that leaves a trail on the glass. Aroma of corn, earthy hops, malt and a slight dose of caramel. Tastes the same with no noteworthy aftetaste at all.

12oz bottle. Lightly hazed light amber body topped by medium off-white head. Aroma is moderately sweet, bread/biscuit, lemon, some earthy. Taste is moderately sweet, lemon, bread, light earthy, faint alcohol warming. Medium body, light acidity, low carbonation.

Bottle from Rehills, Newcastle. A golden-amber coloured beer with a spicy Belgian fruity flavour toffee notes and a warming creamy lemon and fruity finish.

Draft at a southern tier tap takeover. From notes. Earthy and slightly sweet. Cool.

Tap @ C4, Odense. Pours golden with a small creamy head. Citrus, bready malts, grain and some dust. Medium bodied.

Bottle. Clear copper with a tight 1 finger off white head. Aroma is bready and grassy. Taste follows suit and has some nice interplay between fruity sweetness and some hop bitterness. Some spices in the finish. Body is a little odd. A little too thick and rich for the style. Has good carbonation but just doesn't come across as crisp as I would like. Pretty surprised how enjoyable this was.
