Black with a brown head. Aroma is some slight coffee. Flavor is very sweet and creamy with a decent roasted coffee bitterness in the finish. Overall, solid stout, almost like an after dinner dessert.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Medium roast coffee with cream aroma, a little unmalted barley. Dark mahogany, thin tan head. Rich sweet coffee flavor. Medium body. Darker roast character on the palate than the nose, with a malt bitterness. Simple but well made.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours thick black with tan head. Smells of chocolate, lactose, roasted malts, sugar and a bit of tin. Taste had the typical ST sweetness with lactose, dark roasted malt, no booze, caramel. Quite nice and for a "sweet" stout I like the amp up which seems natural for ST.

355mL thanks to DedicatedToFun. Pours deep, clear marron with with thick, dense, almost nitro looking dark coffee head. Excellent sheety, nitro like lace. Nose is slightly poopy, lactose, milk chocolate, sweetened espresso. Taste is tangy, metallic up front, a little rust character, lactic. Thicker Irish dry stout character with milk stout blend. Ends sweet with some iron metallic. Thicker, lactic palate. Big mocha character. Better than expected.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle pour to snifter....coffee and milk chocolate essence fills glass with faint dusty earthen hops note. Taste akin to oreos dipped in ovaltine with underlying alcohol kept at bay by lactic carbonate body. Goes down very nice, with just the right amount of heat n sweet.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
From my first time tasting this beer: Pours extremely dark and thick (light doesn’t pass) with low carbonation. Has a small tan head that quickly dissipates. Smells of barley malt, alcohol and hops, no sweetness on the nose just beer. Quite good, thick and malty with a good hop presence as well. The sweetness of the milk stout seems to mix with the alcohol and they kind of mask each other making it just taste like a regular stout. The descent hop presence hits you before it finishes with a a strong bitter coffee chocolate malt taste. This is a good average stout, being that the 2xipa and Left hand milk stout are two of my favorites, I thought I’d like this more. Not blown away but very good.
