COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Not quite an imperial, but certainly not a standard India pale ale. Our double IPA is a hop lovers dream. Citrusy and clean with an incredible finish.

Pale orange, decent head. Aroma is citric hops and some sweet caramel accented malts. I should mention this was quite clear. Flavor matched the aroma, not the hop blast I was expecting, but more balanced. Grapefruit and a hint of pine. Fair amount of gummy malts. Their IPA actually strikes me as being hoppier. Nice enough though.

Pours out a nice, well carbonated light copper color with a small, slightly off white head. Aroma is of citrus(mostly grapefruit) and pine hops, with a tough of some sweet malt notes and a little alcohol. Taste is citrus, grapefruit and light pine hops, some mild malt sweetness, light grain and a tiny touch of alcohol, but overall its well hidden. Rather solid.

Golden of color with a white head. An aroma of pines, honey, hops, sweets and malty. A flavor of hops, grapefruit, hops, pines, honey and malty. Very lovely beer!!

stonelis (38) - Kutztown, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 20, 2010
Poured a hazy golden color. Small white head. Light bodied, unusual for a double IPA, not as much hop character as a double IPA. Citrus, light pine. You would never guess this to be almost 8.5 percent. This is a very drinkable beer. Not your typical DOUBLE IPA but still very good.

Pours in a bright amber color. Cream colored head. Smells of caramell, citrus and fresh hops. Very well balanced. Can sense the caramel malt and perhaps a bit of centennial hops. Long bBitter finish. Delicious!

Pours amber with off white head. Aroma is citrus, pine, grass and some floral undertones. Taste is sweet with muted bitter finish. Thick mouthfeel.

Bottle at Bar & Cigar in Oslo. It poured a clear yellow liquid with a medium sized dirty white head. Smell and taste of fruity hops and passion fruit. Smooth mouthfeel, medium body and carbonation. This one doesn’t really feel like a DIPA, more like a weak DIPA. I would have wanted allot more bitterness and hops.

Bottle. Pour is a surprising light amber (expecting darker) with a solid tight head a minimal lacing. Aroma has a nice mixture of malt and hops which smell of caramel and grapefruit (little dirty). Taste is crisp gritty citrus and spruce with a little orange peel. Palate has a thin yet creamy feel with a decent dry finish (refreashing). I enjoyed this one, even though I was expecting a darker appearance.

(12oz bottle thanks to Mora2000) clear pale yellow with long lasting white bubbles. Nose is funky, mango, pineapple and honey. Taste of bitter melon, cracker, juicy citrus, marshmallow, with a sweet palate linger of more juicy citrus fruits.

Golden pour from bottle shared by Mora2000. Big hoppy aroma. Taste is peppery, with notes of pine needles and citrus. Finishes with a nice, not too big bite. Solid IPA and one I would drink again for sure.
