3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
12oz bottle from BOTW. Pours a bight melon orange with a thin head of white cream. Aroma is all citrus hops - bright and potent. Flavors are all about the hops as well. Resiny, bright and chewy - but the finish almost tastes creamy? Fairly smooth for the amount of bitterness. Good stuff.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a crystal clear golden color with a small white head.
Aroma isn’t anything crazy or overpowering, but what is there is very nice and subtle with a bit of fruit and piney hop flavor - pretty much what you’d expect.
Flavor is quite bitter all the way through but with notes of fruit coming through just a tad. Overall though the main flavor is driven by the hops, which, depending on your taste could be a good or bad thing. I prefer DIPAs where the fruity flavors shine a bit more but for what this is its pretty good, and very drinkable. The bitterness is not overpowering by any means, and my palate doesn’t seem to be getting too blown out by it. Feels light and lively as you drink due to a higher than average amount of carbonation.
A solid beer and something I’ll drink again, but there are several others in the style that I prefer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a nearly clear honey gold with a 1 finger slightly chunky, white head. Aroma is citrus, light pine, cat box (piss) and pot, planty wildflower, hints of caramel and biscuit, and just a little old straw. Flavor is planty pot, citrus, blood orange rind, floral hops, cat piss, prarie flower and dry grain. Palate is medium bodied, slightly slick syrupy and a little dry with a medium-sharp carbonation. Good but not overly impressive; sweet, pot and cat box heavy IIPA.

12oz bottle from Gmcc2181, thanks G. Rating #47. Yellowish gold color with a thin white head and some light lacing. Big citrus aroma, grapefruit is the first thing that comes to mind. Light flavor up front, very smooth and drinkable with some mild bitterness and a clean crisp finish. Very nice drinker and real tasty. (1262)

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
12 oz bottle. Clear orange with a white head. Nose is pine, orange and cat pee. Crisp medium light with lively carb. Taste is lemon zest with herbal spice. A touch of orange peel and caramel lead to a clean dry finish. Surprising restraint by Southern Tier. I could drink a few of these.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle. Pours a clear light golden with a creamy white head. Aroma is citric, a little champagne like fruitiness, a soft hop character, sweet cake and bready notes. Flavor starts with a clean sugary sweetness, picking up a orange candy like character. The alcohol becomes more apparent in th finish as it almost has a cloyingly sweet note, without much bitterness even in the finish. Medium body and a sharp sprtitzy carbonation. For the price of 8.99 a sixer, not a bad IPA, but it doesn’t stand up well with other double IPA’s in terms of complexity and depth.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Longneck. Pours golden, lighter than many DIPAs. Nice malt body though, and citrusy/pine hops. Really not too bitter. The high ABV warms you up a bit. Nice beer, but not groundbreaking.
