3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Mostly clear yellow/orange with a bit of white head. Aroma is fantastic with sweet, juicy citrus. Taste is the same... and clean, with some pine and citrus in the finish. Alcohol is evident as it warms, but well hidden overall with good balance and drinkability $2/12oz

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottled. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of grapefruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and grapefruit, leading to a dry and bitter finish.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Smells of hops. Tastes like an IPA. A little on the thin side, but very smooth for 8.2%

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
04-JUL-2010, bottle @home, from "Ølbutikken".
Very light in color for an IIPA. Golden with nice lasting white head.
Grape fruit nose. Very fresh, only a slight malty sweetness, but overall a very hoppy IPA.
I still prefer a more malty background, but in the danish summerheat this goes down easy:)

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
I enjoyed this double a lot. It was incredible well balanced and not too overpowering to the palate. Granted, I like to be pulverized sometimes, but others it’s nice to relax a little.
Big full nose of hops followed by strong hop palate complemented with a subtle sweetness from the malt that mellows the overall flavor. Finish is clean and crisp and refreshing, more so than most beers this big.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A double IPA ... one of my favorite styles. Clear gold, small white head. Sweet nose of candy sugar, light roasted malts, and citrusy American hops. Taste of light malts, American hops, but with a dry finish. Not my favorite example of my favorite style, but an easy beer to like.
