3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: AUG 23, 2010 An all around great IPA. This beer is not too strong or too light and can be great on a hot or cold day, or even as a session beer, which can’t be said for many IPA’s. The 4 varieties of hops and 3 of malts come together nicely to create a sweeter piney start and a hoppy finish with a tiny hint of citrus.

UPDATED: NOV 29, 2010 This reminds me of Stone Ruination a lot (and it’s 40% less in cost?!). The pour was pale golden with a smallish head and very little lacing. Nice robust citrus aroma. There is a lot of flavor in this thing. It’s like you scooped out the pulp from some genetically engineered grapefruit/orange/peach fruit and plopped it into your most. Also some notes of toastiness and caramel. The hops also had notes of pine and herbs. Rerated somewhat lower as I’ve now had this from 3 separate sixers and it’s a bit inconsistent, sometimes getting a bit too sweet and herbal.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus - orange, peach. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Mostly clear yellow/orange with a bit of white head. Aroma is fantastic with sweet, juicy citrus. Taste is the same... and clean, with some pine and citrus in the finish. Alcohol is evident as it warms, but well hidden overall with good balance and drinkability $2/12oz

Smells of hops. Tastes like an IPA. A little on the thin side, but very smooth for 8.2%

04-JUL-2010, bottle @home, from "Ølbutikken".
Very light in color for an IIPA. Golden with nice lasting white head.
Grape fruit nose. Very fresh, only a slight malty sweetness, but overall a very hoppy IPA.
I still prefer a more malty background, but in the danish summerheat this goes down easy:)
