Not quite an imperial, but certainly not a standard India pale ale. Our double IPA is a hop lovers dream. Citrusy and clean with an incredible finish.

Very nice beer. Pured a crystal clear effervescent amber color with a medium sized very long lasting white head. Virus, grapefruit and pine hop forward aroma. Sweet with a touch of alcohol in the nose. Nice hop flavor with big citrus notes. Covers almost all of the sweet malt. Light body and smooth finish with well hidden alcohol. Goes down to fast and easy.

12oz bottle, no date so i hope itís fresh, from grape & gourmet. pours a clear, bright, gold with a one-finger, bubbly white head and light lacing. aroma is damn nice with big, juicy, fruit notes of tangerine, orange, and canned pineapple chunks with hints of sugary malts, pine resins, and wet grass. flavor is very nice as well with fruity hop notes of grapefruit and orange flesh balanced by grassy bitterness and light, nutty, malts with a hint of wheatbread. palate is medium bodied with nice carbonation and a soft, bitter, fruity finish. overall, a very tasty brew at a nice price.

Bottle. A complicated beer, part imperial, part IPA, also had some hints of pale ale in there, all at 10.5 ABV. Great smell and a golden wheat color. The slightly excessive bitterness is the only reason why this is not my favorite beer in the world. Taste great in the mouth, better when down the throat. Do yourself a favor and go get one.

The aroma is pineapple and orange. Tangerine, spruce and pine needle sap. Very citrusy orange groves. The appearance is hazy, flat golden yellow. Decent wisp of head. Some good lace. Great to look at. Slow carbonation. The flavor is toasted malts; lovely. The hops are by turns citrusy, floral and woody. Sweet at first with a slightly woody bitter ending. Has the hops of a double IPA, but the bready malt base grounds it. The palate is consistency of juice with a fizzy bite, like a mimosa. The aroma is fantastic, taste is very good. A bittersweet IPA that isnít over-hopped.

Excellent beer. The appearance is deceiving as it looks like a witbeer but the taste is lovely with a slight hops, slight doughy flavor.

Had this bottle towards the end of a long night. Itís a golden colored beer with a nice white head. I donít consider this a double, cuz it taste more like a stock IPA. Itís pretty much cookie cutter taste with a decent amount of hops of front that give you that pine and grapefruit flavor and enough of a sweet malt backbone to hold it up. It just doesnít have that bite i am looking for from this style of beer....

BottleÖ Clear golden ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The bouquet is bursting-at-the-seams with juicy grapefruit. Additional components of pine needles, apricot and tropical fruits. Medium-bodied with very active carbonation. Well-balanced flavor. Zippy citrus and piney hop bitterness; pale malt and biscuity sweetness. Crisp, snappy, grassy finish. Nice PNW-style IPA.

12oz bottle. Pours golden with a white head and decent lacing. Very surprised to find that this is considered a DIPA. Flavor and feel of a basic IPA. No alcohol taste despite a hefty 8.2 but also not as much of a hops presence as advertised.

Pours a golden brown with a white head. Aroma is sweet hop and malt. Taste is quite sweet for my liking. Still a good amount of hop taste and bitterness although it tastes like a weak IIPA.

A nice take on a IIPA. This one is almost an entry-level beer but one still enjoyable for those already entered. Strong full hop aroma (not light like some say here...), appearance is that of a pils, almost like a double extra pale. Good beer.
