4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
After on about the 50th DIPA, most of these seem to fall into the same old same old, but this is a bit different. It is dominated on the front by the big sweet hop bomb/ honey falovors, but finishes clean and smooth. This has very little after taste that seems to cover the big boozy DIPA’s, and just finished clean and smooth. Very drinkable, looking for more.

exceptional aroma of grapefruity and piney hops..just a hint of maltiness..good looking with foamy head pleanty of lacing and golden color with just a hint of orange..tastes great a load of hops more on the piney side i think than in the aroma bit still an qrange grapefruity quality..pleasant subtle malt sweetness expands as it warms a little..bitter palate smooth at the end refreshing and drinkable alcohol well hidden..overall..very nice and at 2.25 for a bottle a real bargain

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, 12oz. A more or less clear beer, golden in color and with a small, quite cute, white head on top. Grapefruit and resin on the nose, not much room for the pale malts. A little orange peel touch too. Good bitterness in the flavor and finish, a bit caramel sweet flavor maybe. Orange, resins and a little malty touch. Full-bodied and slightly warming. The finish is bitter and with a good orange flavor. Nice, quenching and refreshing, dangerously easy to drink for a beer this strong. 100806

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Tasted 8/5/10. 12oz bottle. Filtered with a golden hue. White head. Aromas of grassy and piney hops. Medium to full bodied with a huge bitter, raw, green hoppy flavor. Mild cola effervescence and flavor undertone in the malt bill. But totally hopp dominant. Great bitterness and flavor. Nicely done!

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
The beer pours a yellow-orange color with a white head. The aroma is very hoppy with some pine, orange and dank notes. Very inviting. The flavor is mainly pine with some nice caramel malt notes. I also get some grassy and earthy hops and a tad bit of orange citrus as the beer warms. Medium bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. This is not the best Double IPA I have ever had, but it is very good and a beer that everyone should try.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
355 mL bottle. Pale, with little head. Big resinous nose. In the flavour, you find grapefruit and pineapple as well as the pine. Not much of a malt backbone, certainly not as much as you find in many other, better-balanced examples. This is simply a hop lovers dream beer.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Very nice beer. Pured a crystal clear effervescent amber color with a medium sized very long lasting white head. Virus, grapefruit and pine hop forward aroma. Sweet with a touch of alcohol in the nose. Nice hop flavor with big citrus notes. Covers almost all of the sweet malt. Light body and smooth finish with well hidden alcohol. Goes down to fast and easy.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle, no date so i hope it’s fresh, from grape & gourmet. pours a clear, bright, gold with a one-finger, bubbly white head and light lacing. aroma is damn nice with big, juicy, fruit notes of tangerine, orange, and canned pineapple chunks with hints of sugary malts, pine resins, and wet grass. flavor is very nice as well with fruity hop notes of grapefruit and orange flesh balanced by grassy bitterness and light, nutty, malts with a hint of wheatbread. palate is medium bodied with nice carbonation and a soft, bitter, fruity finish. overall, a very tasty brew at a nice price.
