Not quite an imperial, but certainly not a standard India pale ale. Our double IPA is a hop lovers dream. Citrusy and clean with an incredible finish.

Pours a hazy yellow colour white lacing. Citrus aroma. Malty sweet taste, a liittle too much for an IPA. Very drinkable, but kinda average.

Average macro looking pour. Nice floral notes with a hoppy taste. Bitter, but still smooth and refreshing. On tap at 3 cellars in Franklin, WI.

12 oz bottle. Pours a welcome deep golden with a white head. Nice hop aroma of tangerine citrus and tropical fruits. NIce, simple pale malt base to showcase the hops, no caramel/crystal cluttering things up. Notes of grain/cracker then comes a nice juicy orange/grapefruit citrus hop character plus some of that mango/papaya flavor - I’m guessing they used some Simcoe and Amarillo in here. Drinks very easily, medium bodied with moderate carbonation. The only thing I would change is add a some more hop bitterness. Nice beer, though.

Draft at Lure’s near Annapolis. Very light color with a nice head of loosely piled foam. Nice bright citric aroma. Drinks with a nice tight citric bite and a tangy tingle. Delish! (#3945, 7/13/2010)

Draft from Fathead’s. A-pours a slightly haze light orangish amber with a tiny bit of pure white head. S-the nose is quite hoppy with little malt, but present. lightly toasted malt, tons of pine with notes of citrus hops, grapefruits and tangerine. T-the taste is bigger than the nose, lightly toasted malt makes a small presence, the pine is strong with a light citrus hop flavor in the back with tastes of grapefruits and tangerine. the finish is moderately bitter lingering for a moment. M-smooth and syrupy with a medium body and a good carbonation, slick on the back of the throat and slightly dry. D-this is tasty, hop bomb with a great feel and nice finish. clean and tasty!

[2914-20100618] 355mL bottle. Heavy pine resin hops aroma. Clear, medium orange body with a medium-lasting creamy off-white head. Bitter resin evergreen hops flavour has a long bitter aftertaste. Medium-full body. Wow, great bitter.

golden with large white head. firm bitterness before citrus hop flavor that is too understated with a lot of crystal malt flavor that diminishes the hop notes. disappointing, especially from this very good brewery
