COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Not quite an imperial, but certainly not a standard India pale ale. Our double IPA is a hop lovers dream. Citrusy and clean with an incredible finish.

Gold in color. Sweet soapy aroma like Irish Spring. Bitter citrus flavor like the pith followed by a cereal note like Chex. Overall, decent... Glad to have sampled.

Pours a clear orangish yellow with a large creamy white head and decent amount of lacing. Aroma of pine, melon, grapefruit, floral, citrus and malt. Taste is strong of exotic fruit and rich malts, pine, rye, and grapefruit. Very bitter, robust, and heavy. Not nearly as hoppy as I was hoping. Long finish of strong malts and hop bitterness. Creamy texture and pretty high carbonation that stings the tongue and mouth. Overall good, but not great.

Poured on draft. Pale copper with a white head of foam. The aroma was piney and floral. Unfortunately I don’t get the citrus from the description. Taste is bitter from start to finish. I like the beer, but it’s just not quite there for me.

12 oz bottle at Redfin Blues in Pittsburgh. A nice creamy mouth feel and just the right amount of hops. A clean, crisp finish added to the enjoyment f this superior IPA.

On tap during the brewery tour. There wasnt much of an aroma here. Just a tad bit of hops. It pours a pale yellow with a nice head and presents some lacing. The taste is of citrus and not overly bitter.

Draught on tour at Southern Tier. Poured darker yellow with white head. Mildly piney aroma. Bitter pine taste.

355ml bottle. Pours a deep orange golden with a small, white head that leaves quite a bit of lacing. Aroma is green with hops, exotic fruits, grapefruit, passion fruit, some caramel. Taste is a lot of caramel and pith as well as grapefruit. The exotics (mango being the strongest) fade into the background. Pine and grapefruit peel make an appearance on the aftertaste. Palate is medium, quite stingy with carbonation.

Bottle pour to shaker. Fresh, crisp and citrusy. Nice balance of malts and hops. I know rye is not an ingredient, but it feels like rye on the palate. I enjoyed it.

Beer tasting hoppy but not as hoppy as I thought it would be. Citrus notes throughout with a very clean finish. Would buy some bottles.
