4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pour bright orange with a one finer off white head with pretty nice lacing. Aroma is of citrus, tropical fruits, pine, bready malts, and sweet malts. Taste is about the same as the aroma with the addition of some light herbal hops and just a little booze in the finish. Has a medium body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a moderately bitter, long finish. Overall, a pretty nice DIPA.

Golden color with a moderate, fairly dense, off-white head. Sweet floral and citric hops dominate the nose. Nearly smells acidic with all the hops. I’m trying to find some malt, but am not having much luck. A hopsheads aroma. Some pine comes to the nose as it sets, and perhaps a bit of salty malt. Malt come out more in the flavor. Floral hops and a sweet, salty malt profile. Herbal bitterness in the middle. A touch unclean as dirt and dry grass come to mind in the finish and linger. Seems a bit watery in flavor at times. Perhaps the balance is off, at least for me. 2/10

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Ambar clara, pajiza. Excelente espuma, blanca, 2 dedos, muy consistente y duradera. Excelente aroma, pino, cítrica, frutal., floral. Excelente textura, hipercremosa, hipersuave. Bravo!!

It pours a cloudy golden color with a white head and lacing. The aroma is strong hops and grapefruit. The taste is hops and bread with some grapefruit and boozy notes. The mouth feel is a nice balance. This is an excellent IPA.

Great xxipa, had bigger but that is not a bad thing. Very pine cone aroma. Orange color light head. Flavor of oily pine hops with some malt sweetness that added not distracted.

Aroma is perfect. Must be the Simcoe hops. Appearance is Golden. Taste is absolutely perfect, dry ipa. Palate is great from start to finish. Heavy on taste, but not on body. Drinks like a dream. Phin really knows how to brew a great double ipa.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dirty golden brew with decent head. Smells a bit weedy with a herbal thing going for it. Has a dry bitterness that is like a floral hop but with a touch of rag weed in it. Different to say the least but not bad. OK so maybe not my top pick for an IPA but with the price and the kick it is worth going for. Might have to get some of these for later in the summer when the rag weed is going crazy, would be good time to make that comparison again to see if I am spot on.
