Not quite an imperial, but certainly not a standard India pale ale. Our double IPA is a hop lovers dream. Citrusy and clean with an incredible finish.

Hazy Gold with lots of visual carbonation. The head is lasting and produces a little lacing. Aroma of grapefruit and over ripe citrus fruit. Medium body with a fair amount of hop bitterness that adds a little zing on the palate. Nice crisp lingering finish. A well crafted beer.

Pours amber. Two finger head, good lacing. Aroma pine and citrus fruits. Taste is well balanced sweetness from the malts and medium bitter from the hops. Medium body, light carbonation. Finishes citrus, pine with a nice lingering bitterness. At 8.2% alcohol, it’s not the apparent in the profile. Nice IPA.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a medium thick, well retained off white head, with extensive lacing, over a clear, gold (SRM 5) body.....nose is pine, resin, citrus peel from the hops, light floral honey tones, cereal from the malts....taste is mildly sweet to start, with floral tones, leading to pine, resin, citrus peel, and a moderate lingering finishing bitterness.....mouth feel, medium, slightly sticky, light alcohol warmth, light acid finish, carbonation adds nice tingle. From the ABV, this is a light I/DIPA, but all else is there. It is hop dominated in both aroma and flavor, with sweet balancing malts. It would be better with a more complex malt bill, perhaps some oats or wheat. Also more attenuation would appeal to many. BJCP 8/3/15/4/7

On tap at CBC Brixton. Pours a hazy light orange amber with a white head. Aroma is fairly sweet caramel alongside a veg funk. Medium body, medium carbonation. Quite sweet throughout, though in no way cloying, there's overripe trop fruit, light caramel, marmalade, lemon, hint if sherbetty candy, light bitter finish. Tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A very smooth, clean beer. Not an overly dominating hop taste like the name would imply. Great all around beer.

12oz bottle poured into a mason serving jar at Mussel & Burger Bar in Louisville, KY. Hazy peachy amber brew with a firm head of tiny white bubbles. Nose is crisp floral and evergreen hop aroma. Taste is crisp and tasty Hop zing with just a hint of malt. Body is fluid and full. FInish is good hop hit.

Nice carbonation and fizz with a little head. A little lacing present as I drank. Nice big hop smell! Lots of citrus with some floral in there. Very smooth and you don’t really notice the 8.2% alcohol honestly. Great beer and easy to drink.

Rated on 3-01-2011 (Bottle) This beer has a small fizzy white head that mostly diminishes, transparent medium yellow body with fast rising carbonation and virtually no lacing. The aroma is malt, pine, citrus, and grapefruit hops. The taste is hoppy bitter, lightly malty, pine, and citrus hops. The mouthfeel is lively and this is a medium bodied beer. This is a beer for the hop heads! The maltiness takes a backseat in this beer. This beer is worth trying.
