4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. Slightly hazy pale yellow-amber color with a modest cream colored head. Good floral, pine, and tropical hop aroma on the nose. Mild toasted malts. The body is medium. Big hop flavors and a bitter bite to end. It is right up there with others in is class but there is little more I can say about it.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Good citrusy aroma - lemon zest and some pineapple. Not all that good looking. Cloudy dark yellow color with a huge tuft of white foam that takes forever to recede. The taste has a surprising amount of sweetness up front, then the citrus hops mentioned in the aroma kick in. The aftertaste is a perfect harmony of sweet and hoppy flavors. The hops are strong enough, but not bitter. The palate is thick enough to prevent the beer from being watery but thin enough to keep it refreshing. Overall, I found this to be a good, non-pretentious, easy drinking DIPA that I would definitely seek out again.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at PreFunk. First impression is pretty mild for IIPA, with the hop selection favoring the East Coast palate. Subtle, sneaks up on you. Unassuming pour, lazy carbonation, soft white head. Initial mild hoppy, malty nose. Hops kick in with some zip at first taste, numbs the tongue, lingering bittersweet. Smooth, slick and lots of late warmth. Nice

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a nice straw color with a white head. Aroma is very crisp with plenty of citrus. At first I liked it due to the refreshing crisp grapefruit flavor. The more I drank it the more bitterness I tasted. It was like eating the pulpy part of the fruit then near the end only getting the bits along with the rind. I really like citrus flavoring with a slight bitterness but this was just a little too harsh for my liking.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 6/20
Not my idea of a DIPA. Brewer doesn’t list IBU’s but I would guess around 65 to 70. Pours a golden straw color with white lingering head. Aroma of floral and citrus hops with slight grassy notes. Flavor is similar. Light to moderate carb and mouth feel finishing crisp with slight malty sweetness. Nice, drinkable IPA. A little hoppier would be nice.
