4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 DocJitsu (306) - California, USA - MAR 31, 2013
Pours a crystal clear, classic golden color with a quickly dissipating antique white head. The bouquet consists of citrus, pine, and apricot. The maltiness and hoppiness interact to create a tangy, piney, and sweet nose. Moutfheel is thin and wet, but suits the style. It’s not quite as malty as the nose leads one to expect. It’s a rather unique tasting IPA. Some pine is present and some Smarties candy. A lot of freshness. Some grapefruit bitterness. Finishes cleanly. Pretty good.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 beer-yum (62) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - MAR 30, 2013
A very good double IPA. Seems a little thinner than others of the breed but provides a nice difference when partaking of a few.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 Miked1687 (218) - Buffalo, New York, USA - MAR 29, 2013
Poured from a bottle into glass. Orange gold pour, one finger white head that dissipates quick. Aroma isn’t strong, but I’m getting some citrus, grassy hops. Tastes crisp, sweet syrupy balance with the warm booziness and hops. Pretty abrupt finish. Lightly bitter after taste.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Barrelbelly (504) - BELGIUM - MAR 29, 2013
Dark orange, golden with large head. Aroma and taste of flower and mainly bitter hops. Grainy. Long bitter aftertaste.
4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 Mattmcc42 (6) - - MAR 28, 2013 does not count
UPDATED: APR 24, 2013 Bottle. DOB 3/8/13. Nice and hoppy flavor. A bit more intense than stier?s IPA. A world class Ipa in my opinion.
4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20 BeerZack (265) - Asheville, North Carolina, USA - MAR 26, 2013
Pours a clear golden with persistent white head. Dank hoppy smells of spicy onion and pine resin. The flavor follows through pretty much the same with dank hops taking the leading role and the pale malt just supporting. Like drinking sticky hop resin.
3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 fattybladdy (198) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - MAR 24, 2013
Bottle to pint. Pours a clear medium golden with minimal white head. Hoppy aroma. Taste is floral hops with some citrus and pine, quite bitter in the finish.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Jrwhitney6 (117) - - MAR 20, 2013
Pours a deep clear gold with little head. Subtle nose, but typical pine of an IPA. Taste of bitter hops - gets right to it, not too much citrus up front. Good brew.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 thearmi (14) - Riga, LATVIA - MAR 20, 2013
Rather light for a double IPA. No alcohol in the taste or smell, mild and fruity. The aroma could be more intensive.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 keanex (786) - Atco, New Jersey, USA - MAR 19, 2013
Bottled on February 14, 2013.
Appearance: The body is clear with a bright amber hue. The head is tall but dissipates rather quickly into a messy white coating.
Aroma: The aroma is a bit weak but I smell malts with a citrus and floral hop presence.
Taste: What the aroma lacks in presence the flavor makes up for twofold. The flavor has a strong citrus and floral hop presence backed by a slightly sweet malt base hinting at honey.
Palate: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: This is not bad at all and it’s available at a good price. I don’t think I will buy this again, but it’s certainly worth a chance.
