3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A very solid IPA, I agree with the brewers statement that it’s not quite a Double. Pours a hay to orange color with a nice whit head. Dry crisp, and citrus flavors dominate this beer. Very enjoyable and easy drinking.

3.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
The bubbles alone in this beer please me. It’s golden and has a sticky white head. The aroma is weak and citrusy. It’s thick bodied and coats the palate. It tastes like a sweet hop concoction. Prost!

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
piney aroma with lots of grapefruit
2 finger white head. quick dissipation. amber hay color.
nice biscuity, malty front taste quickly turning into slightly bitter, piney hops.
mouthfeel is nice. medium light body, average carbonation. hops stay on long after the malt notes are gone
overall quite good. enjoyed quite a bit.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours clear yellow with little head. Malty aroma with some hops. Tastes malty and citrusy. A decent brew, but not as intense as I would expect from a double IPA.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Very little head, surprisingly light in colour, slightly cloudy, head dissipates very quickly. Again there’s a lot of gar
Fruit,. Wit a fair bit of malt backup. Not ver intense for a double ipa, flavor is quite malty, limited hops. There is a hint of bitterness, a bit of sweetness, and just a tiny bit of citrus. It is an acceptable IPA, but not what I expect of a double.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Decent flavor. Well balanced across the board. Color is light as is the flavor. Nice but not exciting.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear golden amber pour with an ivory (quickly fading) head. Sharp, dank hop nose, pine, maybe a hint of citrus ... a bit grassy. Faint raisin malty notes upon warming. Flavor dominated by the hops (mostly a bitter blast) but faint malty notes can be detected at first (I get a raisin crystal malt note). Medium bodied mouthfeel with medium carbonation (I’d prefer just a tad more). Not bad .. but lacks the ’wow’ factor of the great ones.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz bottle 9/14/11 (Binny’s Plainfield Singles Rack)-46° in Snifter-Pours a clear goldenish amber with a small white head. Aroma of hops and malt. Taste of hops, citrus, malt, and grapefruit. This medium to full bodied brew is well balanced and doesn’t come across as a Double but it goes down smooth.
