Not quite an imperial, but certainly not a standard India pale ale. Our double IPA is a hop lovers dream. Citrusy and clean with an incredible finish.

Bottle. Pours gold with a thick off white head that lingers for quite some time and laces nicely. Very nice citrus hoppy aroma, bit of grapefruit, some pine, along with a light but noticeable malt note. Medium bodied and surprisingly smooth, more hop flavor on the palate with enough malt to keep it balanced. Bitterness on the finish is fairly subdued. You get just a hint of alcoholic warmth on the back of the throat, but definitely doesn’t feel like it’s over 8%. Perfect when you’re looking for something that’s a bit more flavorful than a standard IPA but not quite as overwhelming as an imperial. Flavorful but still very drinkable and even refreshing. Without a doubt better than their standard IPA.

Bottle... Poured a vibrant, golden/yellow with a thick white head, lots of lacing along the walls of the glass. Citrusly hopped nose, maryjane-like. Nicely dry, clean, popcorn, grass, and pine notes. Hops had a lot of citrus. Straight forward, but well made for sure.

Citrus, pine, some lighter tropical fruity notes as well as light pale/base malt. Pours light golden, thin bubbly head, light lace. Good clarity. Flavors of pine, citrus, light apricot/peach, base malt, light malt sweetness. Lingering piney flavors and light resins. Nice drinkability for style. A pretty solid beer IMO.

Tap at RNH. Very pale golden pour. The nose is softly fruity. A kiss of very light spiciness over the top along with a bit of light honey as well. Moderate hop aroma. The flavour is surprisingly fruity and soft. A little bit of malt sweetness up front right away before the hops really catch you by the back of the throat. Assertively hopped and actually quite bitter. A little bit of cotton candy sweetness up front. It’s pretty unusual. Initially sweet before the hops slap you back to sense. Becomes more aromatic as it starts to warm up. Fruity and citrusy. Quite unusual.

Bottled. Pours cleardeep golden with a medium sized, creamy head. Hoppy nose of citrus and pine. Medium sweet flavour with grass, citrus, pine and a nice malt background. Medium to full bodied. Creamy texture. Long bitter finish. Enjoyable...

Clear blond with a nice lasting head and thick lacing left on glass. Potent hoppy nose with touches of floral pine and grapefruit. very aromatic. The flavor falls a little short when compared to the aroma and reveals a blandish bittering earthy touch of caramel and dried fruits. The flavor is rather thin on the palate and lacks the depth and complexity of the aroma, as well as the well nuanced and expected flavors. The palate is thinned and syrupy. Not a bad brew overall but one that falls a bit short after opening and observing.

Pours beautifully clear golden color with decent head. Almost burnt nose with a very clean citrus hop taste. Very little alcohol involved so the 8.2 is a surprise. Not a top pick for me, but there were high points I can appreciate.

Pours yellow with an orangish tint. Has a medium white head. Aroma is pine and hops. Flavor is very balanced. very hoppy. Just what you would expect from a Double IPA. Not a very strong alcohol taste. Overall a very good DIPA.

Yellow with a touch of orange, cloudy with medium head. Aroma citrus and piney hops. Medium body, don’t notice the alcohol, flavors are mostly citrus hops, some malt balance, quite drinkable. Bitter but not overwhelmingly so. ? a 1.5XIPA. Solid if not particularly distinctive.
