COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Not quite an imperial, but certainly not a standard India pale ale. Our double IPA is a hop lovers dream. Citrusy and clean with an incredible finish.

Looks good, smells good, tastes good. What more do you want? This is seriously a good IPA. Not terrific, but very good.

Bottle from mane liquor. Pours a clear light golden with a small white head. Nose has lemon citrus, caramel and grapefruit. Doesn't have that bold hoppiness that a double ipa presents. Tastes incredibly sessionable. Citrus hop bitterness dominates the taste. Hints of lemon, floral grassy hops and biscuit are in there too. This is more of an ipa than a 2ipa. Dont get That Chewy malty 2ipa bitterness that I was after. Pretty damn easy to drink good stuff overall. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cold half pint from Keg. Light orange with white head. Smells of grapefruit. Quite big caramel to start the taste, moves to spice with a bit of a watery grapefruit finish. Bit of alcohol noticeable which brings a sharpness. Mid body. It’s not bad at all.

Shared a bottle with good friends in the Alaskan wilderness. Notes of pine, citrusy, grassy, malty, very bitter. The bitterness made this out of balance even for this style.

Okay, it's nice and flavorful, but it's also a little thin. My friend with defective taste buds thinks it has some "off" notes, but I don't. I just wish it had a richer flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Was in NY state up the road from this beer’s home and had a bottle. Clear amber color with a finger of head. Smell is citrus, malt and a little pine. Taste is a nice balance of citrus, tropical fruit, nice malt and finish is incredibly smooth. Great beer. Highly drinkable. Interesting without seeming to try too hard. Deceptively drinkable for an 8+ percent alcohol. Would go for this again.

A few sixers from Sam’s, Durham, over the last few years. Pretty solid and affordable DIPA. Pours bright and vibrant, with a generally clean look that seems apposite to its relatively pale hue. Vigorous carbonation, and the nose is a nicely balanced mix of dry and sweetly fruity. Dangerously drinkable and well balanced for a beer nudging above 8%, with some fruit in the beer’s core but mostly pleasantly bitter throughout.

Clear peach colored pour with eighth inch of white head and a decent amount of small bubbles rising from the bottom. Aroma of fresh hay, lemon citrus, and sour malt. Taste is a bit on the bitter side. Piney, resinous hop flavor dominates. Biscuit malt present in flavor as well. Slgihtly tingly, chalky mouthfeel, average carbonation with a dry, numbing finish somewhat similar to sake. I think this one was stored too long. I remember liking it more. Will certainly rate a fresher bottle in the future.
