COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Not quite an imperial, but certainly not a standard India pale ale. Our double IPA is a hop lovers dream. Citrusy and clean with an incredible finish.

pours pale clear gold-amber. Pillowy white head, lapses quickly to thin lace cap on beer and glass. Light floral and citrus nose, with faint hints of yeast and banana. On the tongue, medium body and creamy, nice balance of malt base with a gentle spicy hop-bitter finish. Nice IPA that’s not in your face and a bit more substantial then a regular IPA

From bottle. Pours a golden yellow with a huge white head and lots of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus and floral hops. Taste is nicely sweet with an overriding bitterness that is nicely balanced. Medium mouthfeel.

Hoppy smell that also smells like detergent, weird cause out of bottle...taste isnt as bitter as expected, slightly sweet and malty, decent

"Melon and lots of citrus on the nose and on the palate. Not light, but lighter than Maharaja (which followed) and GKnight (which preceded). Just the fact that this was a 12 week old bottle (older than both of the other elites by a large margin) and it still held it’s ground deserves kudos. Fairly long shelf life it seems, though I’d bet it’s even better relatively fresh. Want to try it within a month one day."

Pours clear golden. Vanishing white head. Slight citrus grass aroma. Taste is indistinct bitter followed by sweet malt. Too sweet for my tongue.

Golden color with white head. Biscuity malt aroma with grapefruit. Flavor starts out caramel malt with citrus and pine finish. Slight bitterness that doesn’t linger.

Single from total wine. Unfortunately no bottle date so this one seems a little old based on the hop profile. A sticky full bodied caramel malt bomb though if that’s your style.

Poured from bottle into skinny tulip glass. Translucent gold with nice thick-ish white head. Citrus/ fruity scent. Nice smooth palate. Malt base hidden behind plenty of bitter hop flavor. Solid beer.

355 ml, flaske, 8,2 % ABV, købt i Barley Wine i CPH City, 1. august 2014.
