COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Not quite an imperial, but certainly not a standard India pale ale. Our double IPA is a hop lovers dream. Citrusy and clean with an incredible finish.

UPDATED: JAN 12, 2014 Comes out a clearish golden color. It had somewhat of a piney taste to me. Bought it when ratings showed a bit higher. Not anything about that would make me want to purchase it again

. ellow golden, clearish. Citrus green floral, meadowy, light estery nose. Full body, butterscotch citrus. Has a bit of a soapy strange finish I don’t appreciate too much. Smooth though, easy to palate.

Bottle from Archive Beer Boutique May 2013. Quite a bit of citrus goodness going on in both the aroma and flavour. Big beer but not too big.

Poured from 12oz bottle a mostly clear orange body with a small to average sized bright white frothy head, that stays in the middle. Aroma is hoppy, piney, resinous, caramel, citrus, apricot, grapes, toasted malts, light berries. Flavour really much of the same, strong grapefruit, pine and orange, again apricots, tangy malts, moderate bitterness, light sourness and a long hoppy finish. Really excellent DIPA, my go to beer when visiting my In-Laws in Baltimore.

Nice double IPA, poured from a bottle, medium golden color, nice IPA taste and a bit of an IPA aftertaste, good combination of everything ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From bottle. Pours a golden yellow with a huge white head and lots of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus and floral hops. Taste is nicely sweet with an overriding bitterness that is nicely balanced. Medium mouthfeel.

"Melon and lots of citrus on the nose and on the palate. Not light, but lighter than Maharaja (which followed) and GKnight (which preceded). Just the fact that this was a 12 week old bottle (older than both of the other elites by a large margin) and it still held it’s ground deserves kudos. Fairly long shelf life it seems, though I’d bet it’s even better relatively fresh. Want to try it within a month one day."
