COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Not quite an imperial, but certainly not a standard India pale ale. Our double IPA is a hop lovers dream. Citrusy and clean with an incredible finish.

Amazing beer. Bell’s Hopslam Ale is my favorite beer but this comes so close to taking the #1 spot. Really tastes similar and packs 8.2% ABV. I found this in Wisconsin so I am guessing you can get it a lot of places around the US. Try it!

UPDATED: JAN 20, 2012 I’ve had this a few times, bottle draft etc, and can safely say it is awesome. Just recently went directly to the brewery and had it there and it still is awesome. Pours this gold/ copper colour, with a decent head and leaves incredible lacing. Aroma is, well of hops. Taste is of hops, and they are abundant. It’s slightly bitter, but not in an overpowering way. I suggest everyone try this beauty. It may not be for everyone but give it a shot.

Such a beautiful translucient gold. Hoppy aroma of couse. Damn, it’s so smooth with a buttery touch. Creamy hops. These guys make some irresistable brews.

Had one of these while on vacation in Key West and was my first exposure to Southern Tier as it is not distributed in Texas. Had the grapefruit finish common to some DIPAs, but was much smoother than others that I had enjoyed. If there’s a sessionable DIPA, this might be it. Simply outstanding.

Absolutely spectacular brew. It had every characteristic I love in a double IPA. Great hop character with a well-balanced malt presence. Notes of citrus both in the aroma and in the taste. Delicious.

This one is cold and crisp and the perfect end to a road trip. The high hoppiness comes off in the nose so that initially you know you’re delving into a high-hopped beer. The taste has the perfect level of hoppy bitterness to it that makes it extremely refreshing. One of my favorite IPAs.
