Not quite an imperial, but certainly not a standard India pale ale. Our double IPA is a hop lovers dream. Citrusy and clean with an incredible finish.

12 oz bottle at home. Orange-amber color, though more the former than the latter. Fine white bubbles. Aroma is earthy floral hops, light malts; flavor profile is similar, though definitely more citrusy. Palate is clean and refreshing for the ABV, which is well hidden. Better on the first sip than as it goes on. Somewhere in there this beer’s great grandaddy is an American macro, which isn’t something I often detect in double IPAs, but there’s a trace of MGD in there. I think ultimately that ups the refreshment factor . . ,. did I really just say that? Overall I like it. Easy to drink and easier on the wallet than Hopslam.

Nice aroma profile, get citrus and flowers. Seems a bit bitty, meaning you know you are drinking higher ABV as it sticks out. Nice golden color a slight bit hazy imo, white head with decent retention. Mild sweetness with plenty of citrus hops and decent bitterness. Medium body thick style DIPA and left with a decent bitter finish. You can drink more than one of these so get the 6 pack .

Golden with a thin head. Faint floral aroma. Sweeter than the standard IPA. Taste is orange peel and grass with a dry finish. Good imperial.

Draft. Hoppy citrus aroma. Sweet IPA with plenty of hop flavor. Medium bitter finish. Very tasty initially, but too heavy to drink more than one.

Rosie’s Pizza, Penn Station bottle: pours copper with a white head. Aroma is light toffee, citrus, and malt. Kind of a simple and easy drinking DIPA. I have had this a few times, but I am finally rating it from the crappiest version of it given that this was five months olde. In any case this was fine. Not very bitter. Easy to drink for the style.

12oz bottle from total wine and spirits. Gold with small white head. Medium hop nose. Crisp hop taste. Classic double ipa throughout. Such a good go to double ipa.

This bottled brew from a grocery store poured a very small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a very softly carbonated very hazy dark yellow orange colored body and a fair lacing. The weak aroma was malt hop. The mild citrus thick mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and strongly tingly at the finish with a lingering hoppy aftertaste. The deep flavor contained notes of mild citrus wheat mildly vinous dough and hops. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again.

Bottle. Golden small white head. Floral and citrus hops in the nose. Taste is good not as good as regular ipa. Citrus and light floral. Crisp and not weighed down by malt or over hopping. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

APPEARANCE - Light, clear, carbonation, lacing, head retention. AROMA/SCENT - Hops, floral, fruit, floral, sweet. TASTE - Hops, bitter, bread, pine. MOUTHFEEL/PALATE/TEXTURE - Carbonation, very dry, lingering, astringent, effervescent, clean, light. VALUE - $8 for $16 oz. Good deal. OVERALL/DRINKABILITY - Simple, straightforward double; not sweet, so bitterness comes through.

Really good. Complex hop profile with clean sharp finish. A bit boozy to remind you of its 8.2abv but not over the top at all. It's good! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
