Bad label, standard longneck. Clear, ruddy, tea-colored beer; not much head. Spicy, malty aroma. Overly spiced when cold - a bit ham-handed on the nutmeg perhaps - so let this one warm up. Woody-sweet malts, dry caramel. Spice and alcohol burn at the end of a medium heavy body. Faint chocolate notes towards the end, implied vanilla. Not bad, if you’re around a bonfire. ABC, Betton.

Pours amber-red with small white head. Atoms is cinnamon and cloves. Tastes delicious, like magical holiday elves dancing on my tongue. Actually, spicy bread with mostly cinnamon and cloves again and slightly dark fruit tones at the end. Good mouthfeel but not heavy. Overall my favorite holiday drink.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a very dark, clear red with a medium white head. The aroma has a holiday feel to it, with strong cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, and spices. The taste remains heavy in cinnamon. While it keeps the rest of the impressions that were found in the nose, they aren’t nearly as pronounced. There is a somewhat yeasty flavor actually. Short cinnamon aftertaste. I find this light in body. The texture is rather thin, almost watery. Soft in carbonation. Given the light mouthful, I’m surprised that this is 8% alcohol. Anyway, this isn’t all that special.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
The aroma is spices, caramel backbone. The appearance is clear deep ruby, white head. The flavor is spices, like nutmeg, cinnamon, orange peel, mint, clove, kitchen sink, etc, some caramel. The finish is purely spices, slight burn Interesting, if a bit of a "done before" feel Medium in body, slightly thick. Good overall. Definitely Christmas-y in spirit.

A very full beer with an explosion of tastes happening. Definitely all of the holiday spices present here. A really interesting beer that you will want to sip and enjoy slowly, just like the holidays.

12 Ounce Bottle; Pour is a one finger, modest off white / fine bubbled head into this glass - retention is fairly poor here, however , but it does provide a nice, clear ruby coloration in the typical christmas feeling. The nose is spruce tips, nutmeg, spice, and sweetbread, I suppose. The flavor profile provides pine and spruce initial, moving to cranberry and fruit cake - nutmeg and cinnamon spice, with a lingering bitterness - This was a nice experience - not a mind blower.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Alcohol stands out in the aftertaste, though figs are a nice touch. The red (Christmas tree light) color of this beer is almost worth the purchase alone.

pretty Ruby red pour with an off white head. Nose is sweet cranberry, spice, nutmeg. Taste is all holiday spice. Really sweet and it almost tastes like a holiday wreath. Honey finish, ginger bread cookies. Not bad, but it’s intense. Couldn’t drink too much of it.

4.6 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
12 oz. bottle poured into a pint glass. Appearance is a clear ruby-amber color with basically no head. Aroma is cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and other holiday spices. Absolutely fantastic. Taste mostly follows the nose. The spices are a bit too intense, but it is still delicious. As Christmas a beer as I’ve ever had.
